I'll believe it when I see it. For $35, how bad could it be that you'd be mad if it was junk? It'd be cheaper than many of those digital picture frames if that's all you used it for.

I've still never seen one of those $100 computers that were supposed to take over the world a few years ago.

Even Urban Dictionary doesn't have a definition yet for "exotification", what is it?

If I had to guess I would say it's reducing people to their origin or mannerisms or race or religion or features or interests or activities based on being not normally found in that area or activities not readily participated in.

But we do that all the time. The janitor at the gym is only known to me as the janitor at the gym. I don't know anything else about him. It's not exotic but am I required to make an effort to know everyone I encounter more than once?

I've read before that if you mix chemicals and come up with the chemical compound that tastes like grape, you must call it an artifical flavor. However, if you take actual grapes and isolate the same chemical compound, you can call it natural flavoring, even if ultimately the mass production methods of each is the same. It all matters in how you first derive the flavor. Weird, huh?

I'm not sure why this sets people off so much. Are we that sanitized that used chewing gum causes are tummies to churn? I think it's pretty interesting.

Have you ever chewed gum from someone elses mouth after they've been chewing it? It only takes about 3-4 seconds before it starts to feel like your own.

I've never used STarbuck terminology. I always say "largest" and never ordered flavored stuff or whip cream or other sugary stuff so I've never been told to order a different way.

Mainly because I don't know how to pronounce venti.

What does it cost to get a degree, say $50,000 or so? Now take two people, one who pursues that degree through a standard university curriculuum and now give the other $50,000 to spend as they see fit pursuing the same area of discipline. At the end of the allotted time period, who do you think would be more knowledgable or be able to make a greater impact in their field.

Personally, I think I could have done better given $50,000 and free reign, (thinking paying people in the field to apprentice, etc.), but I'm sure others need the structure of university.

You just need to find out which sort of person you are.

Hmm, I feel like the pedestrian is more in the right than the bike rider. Granted, the pedestrian was jaywalking but there are clear times when jaywalking is perfectly safe. No cars coming, middle of the night, etc. Still wrong but you know how it is. Why go all the way to the cross walk when there aren't any cars coming right now? Can't really think of a great reason to be biking the wrong way down the street.

@emmakate

it's true, that's what they arrest you for when they just don't like you. Not many people go to jail for criminal mischief. It's a catch all to let cops pick up whoever they feel like.
