I guess it's more to do with low self-esteem and the belief that these ugly folk will achieve less, and thus are more likely to be opportunist.

If we look at many of today's entrepeneurs will be hard pushed to find an attractive one amongst them. This may well be due to that us more attractive dudes feel that we don't have to do so much to pull a fitty!

34 months? That's nothing compared with my Blackberry!

I reckon if I took a photo now it'll photograph the descent and the extinction of mankind, the Sun going supernova, and the eventual cold death of the universe before it's finished taken the pic!

I am white, of English, Scots and Irish descent.

I have a particular form of dyslexia (it's an umbrella term) that means my eyes never rest on a single point, this bit of research means that I have Asian eyes, not dyslexia!

I particularly noticed the upset looking 'black' guy in the background.

With my super-duper tinted dyslexia glasses I noticed the foreground.

Interesting, but a fatally flawed bit of research. They probably need to try putting on tinted glasses like I did, before they make any grand conclusions

I put a several paragraphs of my so-far unfinished book, and apparently I write like J. K. Rowling. Yey, I'll be a millionaire writer! I think it's because mine is quite a weird, fantastical writing style.

I hope they don't steal my writing, I'll go ape-sh** because it has taken me a year to get where I am!

This is interesting - if true. Because you would think slackers like myself make poor lifestyle choices because they are lazier, and more impatient. I recognise that in myself, but I find it hard to break the habit - although I am currently reading "The Time Paradox", to try to change my 'present hedonist' lifestyle; the book was previously promoted on this website.

I also doubt their methodology, it would be impossible to judge a perfectionist from a slacker in all but the most extreme cases. Although do support the use a rather large group of 500 people to check their hypothesis. People who perfectionists may also suffer from mental health problems that cause their perfectionism - this could be a greater cause of shortened lifespan, and a cause of their perfectionism.

In the end, I don't want to live too long!

This is rubbish, it presumes everyone who lies, lies in the same way.

The only way to go someway towards knowing someone is lying is to know what body-language they used previously whilst lying. Even this will never-ever be 100% right.

I suffer from a form of dyslexia, that makes me slow, and my eyes not to stay still - that means that I'd be guilty of lying - according to this method - even if I told you that earth circles the sun, and that I was born on the planet Earth.

"It’s gross," says Dr. Neil Barnard, author and founder of the PCRM. "Milk is nutritionally perfect for one purpose: feeding a calf," he says. "The idea that we should be drinking milk from a cow is just bizarre."

That quote reminds me of the joke/analogy about the gay man sitting next to a Catholic priest in a aeroplane.

The Catholic Priest argues with the gay man about his sexuality, by saying "It's unnatural, it's not what God intended"

The gay man replies back, "We are in flying metal tube!"

It looks like something the 'Witch of Buchenwald', Ilse Koch, would have as a dress. Hopefully, they'll make it so it doesn't look like human skin...Very grim...

I wonder if it has giant businessman who has no respect for anyone else whatsoever and just walks in to young and old, and the Chinese woman who never holds her mouth when she coughs, or my favourite some 14 year old playing some obscenely bad music the tinny speakers, whilst pretending to be all 'rude' listening to Akon...grrrrr!

Industrial planning? Sounds dangerously Socialist to me! However, it can be done - because advanced economies generally have better infrastructure, and comparatively lower transport costs - it can be cheaper. I heard that it is cheaper for Hyundai to make cars in the UK than in Korea. And 'Runson' is right, far too much of the capital of workers hard labour is going to pay the vast wages of bloated numbers of managers and executives.

I thought after the Greece and state-debt debacle the EU would be thankfully quiet instead of stirring the @#?* again. But no, whilst Rome (or Athens) burns they are more interested in dictating to the rest of EU how we measure eggs! Well done European Union, got it's priorities right again! Quicker the UK is out of that God forsaken collection of anglophobes the better.

Iceland should consider itself lucky, it gets a comedian as mayor of the capital city, and lesbian prime minister. In the UK we get the same white upper-middle-class Oxbridge graduates for all the top jobs. It would be nice to have a change!
