An idea that's in about 1/3 of SciFi stories; priviledged upperclass, corrupt and immoral, technologically superior with some kind of miracle drug that can make you either live forever or is hallucinogenic.. pitted against cavemen living in poverty and disease ridden but just and moral.

But, that being said, still no one has done this story well. These days we kind a need it, the 1% is really close of getting there...Or do you think organ printing and other coming miracle techniques will be given to the poorest before they revolt?
