You know the person who is fully embedded in your life - maybe an extended family member or a co-worker - but you don't trust her further than you can throw her? Make sure she's in the delivery room for most or all of the labor and delivery.

The best was in Addams Family Values when Morticia was in labor. Her other kids were in the waiting room when the doctor says to Morticia "Do you want anesthesia Mrs. Addams?" and she replies "No, but do ask the children."
