Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Deal With A Massive Unicorn Cyst

If you're going as an unicorn this Halloween I sincerely hope the costume is something you wanted to wear rather than something you had to wear to cover up a massive cyst on your forehead.

Because, come November 1st, you're going to have to take the horn off and go back to being the person with a massive cyst on their forehead, and then you may have to pay a visit to Dr. Sandra Lee, aka Dr. Pimple Popper (not for the squeamish).

Making Fun Of Unwanted Halloween Costumes

Halloween is such a big business that companies around the world churn out hundreds of different types of costumes each year to satisfy consumer demand, even though many of them are costumes nobody ever asked for.

Because these companies make so many cheap and crappy costumes a lot of them end up hanging on the clearance rack until they're thrown away or donated to a thrift store, unwanted costumes waiting for Jenny Nicholson to make fun of them:

Amongst this funny fashion show was a boy’s Scorpion King costume, a sexy “One Eyed, One Horned Flying Purple People Eater“, a fun Plo Koon Costume (Star Wars) and a rather ill fitting vampire costume, just to name a few.

The 8 People Who Will Ruin Your Attempt To Lose Weight

Losing weight has just as much to do with your mental willpower as it does with changing your eating habits, which is why it's important to stay in a proper mindset when you're trying to slim down.

The physical cravings are pretty easy to handle, as long as you're not surrounded by delicious smelling restaurants selling the foods you crave.

But the mental part of dieting is a nightmare- because most of the people you know will make the whole thing a nightmare by trying to "help".

There's the person who won't admit you're fat no matter how much weight you've put on, the one who hands out unsolicited (and stupid) advice they learned from Dr. Oz or some other quack.

And then there are those jerks who know you're on a diet yet refuse to stop eating fatty foods around you, they're the worst because they don't even offer to share!

You Can't Go Wrong With A Tom Hanks-Themed Halloween Costume

Halloweenies often choose a genre, type of visual media or a pun as the inspiration for their Halloween costume, but why go through all that when you can just base each year's costume on a famous actor?

If you agree with that statement then the hard part is over, and now comes the moment when you decide which actor to dress up as, may I suggest Tom Hanks?

Tom has played some of the most iconic roles in Hollywood, from Forrest Gump to Chuck Noland the Castaway to coach Jimmy Dugan from A League Of Their Own, so you have plenty of outfits to choose from.

But if those are all too played out for you then go for my personal pick- Joe Banks from Joe Versus The Volcano.

All you need is a tux and a lei and you're all set, but don't forget to say "Thank you, Chief" so people can figure out who you are!

Dad Catches Creepy Neighbor In His Attic Spying On His Family

There's a huge difference between thinking someone is spying on you and actually finding out they are, and the difference is mostly in how much sleep you get and how safe you feel in your own home.

When Jerome and Ashley Kennedy began hearing strange noises in their attic late at night they thought they might have rats, but then Jerome saw a light shining through a pipe above his head and knew something wasn't right.

So he installed a camera in his attic and found to his horror that his neighbor, 69-year-old Robert Havrilla, had been creeping around in their attic:

According to reports, Robert was renovating his own space next door to the Kennedy home, and he’d installed a removable wall to gain access to their attic.

But that wasn’t all: Jerome discovered that Robert had apparently drilled multiple holes in a common wall in order to spy on the family.

The neighbor was arrested and has pled not guilty to charges of trespassing and stalking. The Kennedys hope that he will be charged for his alleged crimes so that they can sleep soundly at night.

Strange But Well-Paying Jobs

For every job with a generic title like "clerk", "associate" or "staff" there are a dozen people in support positions that help keep businesses floating along smoothly.

And then there are the people who have niche job titles like Golf Ball Diver, Snake Milker and Iceberg Mover, people who do strange jobs that most people have no idea actually exist- and pay well.

This infographic from resumeformat2016.com introduces us to some of the strangest jobs people do for pay, and even though some of these jobs sound pretty horrible I'd love to apply to be a Professional Cuddler or a Barbie Dress Designer!

Guy Uses Cat Pics To Purr-Fectly Troll Scammer

Selling stuff online on sites like Craigslist has become a real pain thanks to all the flakes, lowballers and idiot scammers out there who waste our time and make us want to change our phone number.

But why change your number when you can have a little fun with the scammer by trolling them?

That's what David Heathcliff did when some scammy scumbag started texting him about the bedroom set he had for sale, claiming they would send a cashier's check to him for the furniture if he would kindly provide his name and address.

David never did get around to providing his real name and address, but he did provide the guy with the address to the FBI office in Salt Lake City along with plenty of funny pics that would have sent any sane scammer packing.

Ecosexuals Believe They Can Save The Earth By Having Sex With It

It used to be enough to simply live an Earth-friendly lifestyle and do what you can to help protect our planet from destruction at the hands of humanity, but these days many eco-warriors have gone full blown eco-freak.

Case in point- the Ecosexuals,  a group of people who are a little too Earth friendly because they believe they can help save the planet by having sex with it:

Jennifer Reed, a PhD candidate in sociology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, is writing a dissertation on ecosexuality, and says that the number of people who identify as ecosexuals has increased markedly in the past two years. And Google search data confirms that interest in the term has spiked dramatically over the past year. We may look back on 2016 as the year ecosexuality hit the mainstream.

Ecosexuality is a term with wide-ranging definitions, which vary depending on who you ask.

Amanda Morgan, a faculty member at the UNLV School of Community Health Sciences who is involved in the ecosexual movement, says that ecosexuality could be measured in a sense not unlike the Kinsey Scale: On one end, it encompasses people who try to use sustainable sex products, or who enjoy skinny dipping and naked hiking. On the other are "people who roll around in the dirt having an orgasm covered in potting soil," she said. "There are people who f@#$ trees, or masturbate under a waterfall."

According to Reed's research, the term "ecosexuality" has existed since the early 2000s, when it started appearing as a self-description on online dating profiles. It wasn't until 2008 that it began its evolution toward a fully fledged social movement, when Sprinkle and Stephens began officiating ecosexual weddings. The two artists had been active in the marriage equality movement, and they wanted to harness that energy for environmental causes. Stephens has said that their aim was to reconceptualize the way we look at the earth, from seeing the planet as a mother to seeing it as a lover.

Truth really is stranger than fiction...

Hugs Not Drugs

The word "drugs" has been stigmatized even though most of the drugs taken by people are prescribed by a doctor- and the stuff they're prescribing is just as dangerous as those street drugs everyone's afraid of.

However people stop fearing drugs when they're in extreme pain, so they head to their doctor/dealer in search of a hook up.

But, as this Mr. Lovenstein comic shows, you're probably better off buying a bottle of aspirin and trying to ride out the pain, because the pain relief doctors are prescribing can cost a fortune!

The Cabbage Patch Kids Scandal That Was Swept Under The Rug

Cabbage Patch Kids are one of the most iconic toy lines from the 1980s, right up there with Transformers, He-Man and Strawberry Shortcake, and kids still love the whole "adopt a doll" gimmick o this day.

But did you know the soil where the Cabbage Patch Kids are grown is sown with bulls#$t?

What I mean to say is- the Cabbage Patch Kids are a rip-off, and the credit for the original concept should go to Martha Nelson Thomas, the gal who Cabbage Patch "creator" Xavier Roberts ripped off back in the 70s.

Martha began making her Doll Babies in the early 70s, and aside from their striking resemblance to the Cabbage Patch Kids they also came with an unique outfit and were "adopted" rather than merely bought.

Martha's husband Tucker says Xavier Roberts "adopted" a few of Martha's Doll Babies at a craft fair and started selling them out of his own gift shop, but Martha was unhappy with how much he was charging for them so she took them back.

Roberts then said he'd start making his own if she wouldn't let him sell her Doll Babies, and a few years later the Cabbage Patch Kids were released, prompting Martha to file a lawsuit in 1975:

Roberts admitted that dolls were inspired by Nelson Thomas's creation, but claimed the design was his own. She had never filed a copyright on the design, but in 1975 she did file a lawsuit.

It took 10 years to actually make it to trial, but it finally settled out of court for an undisclosed amount in 1985. Mendes said that "She couldn't tell us what the settlement was but she said her children would go to college."

Thomas said, "we didn't want the conflict to go on forever. That's not a good way to live." While they never had the financial success of the Cabbage Patch Kids, Thomas says he was happy with his life as it was. He said, “Martha and I had a wonderful life together. It wasn’t elaborate but it was wonderful. I’m not going to trade in that life for a few dollars.”

This Russian Dude Takes Low Cost Cosplay To A New Dimension Of Ridiculousness

It appears Thailand's Lowcostcosplay has a rival in Russia who also creates crappy costumes made using stuff he finds lying around his house- like his dog.

Moscow-based manager Alexander Kravets calls his version of cosplaying on a zero budget "suitable cosplay", and even though it's similar to Lowcost on the surface Alexander's cosplay looks explore deeper levels of geekdom.

So what makes Alexander's suitable cosplay different than the looks created by Lowcost?

Alexander is all about accurately recreating scenes from movies and TV shows, no matter how hard it is to achieve this goal with the stuff he has at his house.

Alexander shares his household cosplay creations with the outside world via his Instagram account, where his cosplay creations will wow you, kapow you and make you grin from ear to ear.

Artist Creates An Unique Kimono That Reflects Her Biracial Heritage

Traditionally kimonos fall into one of three categories- cheap imitations mass produced for export, very fine garments made by the few living master seamstresses and handmade kimonos made by Japanese women.

Artist Maya Caulfield is half Japanese and half Scottish so she wanted a kimono that celebrated her dual heritage, so buying a mass produced generic garment was immediately out.

Maya also enjoys making her own clothes, so rather than paying someone to make her unique kimono she chose to make her own out of men's plaid shirts and boxer shorts sourced from thrift stores around Denver.

Her cross cultural creation truly reflects her biracial heritage and her creativity as an artist, plus it looks pretty comfy as far as kimonos go!

Crazy Cool Ads From Old School Video Game Magazines

Video game magazines like Nintendo Power, Game Informer and Electronic Gaming Monthly kept gamers informed, hip to secrets found in their favorite games and hyped on new releases, plus you could share them with your friends.

The game secrets were awesome, the interviews with game designers were inspiring, but the ads were worthy of tearing out and pinning on your wall.

Game companies like Midway, Nintendo and Konami knew their audience well, so they made sure their ads caught the reader's eye and stayed fresh in their minds when allowance day came around.

An Animated Short About A Cat, A Dog And The Bakery Of Their Dreams

Working towards your goals and striving for success are both admirable pursuits in life, but it's easy to get so caught up in achieving your goals that you lose sight of the other things in life that are just as important- like our loved ones.

In Fernanda Frick's Here's The Plan an ambitious young critter couple dreams of opening a cupcake bakery, only to have their dreams, and their love, put on hold when the oven breaks.

The story is touching and relatable, the symbolism relevant, but most of all your eyes will delight in the appeal of the fantastic animation.

Here's the plan - Animated Short Film from Fernanda Frick on Vimeo.
