Woman Leaves Hilarious Yelp Reviews About Past Dates

Yelp has become a great way to discover a new venue without going there and getting disappointed first, and people love to add their own colorful details so their reviews really stand out.

But if you've read one bad burrito review or panning of a theme restaurant you've read them all, and for many the romance has gone out of the reviewing process on Yelp.

So what is a hopeless romantic to do when they need to find a good place to take a date based on someone's past dating experience at that venue?

They should look to the reviews left by Natalie Walker and see what her dates were like at these locations.

Miss Walker's reviews don't help people find a fine meal or score tickets to the perfect spot for sweethearts, but they definitely paint a colorful picture of Natalie's past!

The "Tree Of Death" Is Every Bit As Scary As It Sounds

The name "Tree Of Death" conjures up images of skull shaped fruit and gnarly faces forming in tree trunks, but more often than not trees earn morbid nicknames for less obvious reasons.

In the case of the Manchineel tree has earned the nickname "Tree Of Death" by growing highly toxic fruit dubbed "death apples" that can cause vomiting, diarrhea, seizures and even death.

People who make the mistake of touching the Manchineel tree receive chemical burns from the caustic sap it exudes, and the apples are so dangerous Caribbean nations have taken to posting warning signs to protect tourists.

Scientists believe most of the Manchineel tree's deadly power comes from the organic compound phorbol, which can be found in every bit of the tree, from leaf to bark to fruit.

The No Pants Subway Ride Has Gone Global

The No Pants Subway Ride is a yearly tradition started in 2002 by New York's Improv Everywhere that now takes place on train cars all over the world, from Los Angeles to Bucharest, Romania.

Participants in the No Pants Ride may cause fully clothed passengers to stare and sneer, and occasionally leer,  but mostly this "international celebration of silliness" just makes people smile.

The No Pants Ride tradition is sure to keep spreading across the globe like the infections now spreading across the legs of the pantsless, and it will be interesting to see which country drops trou next!

Girl Forgets Stuffed Rabbit At Hotel, Staff Gives It The Royal Treatment

When a child loses their plush friend it can seem like the end of the world to them, because they've formed such a strong attachment to their toy they can't imagine living without it.

More often than not these lost toys end up devoured by dogs, adopted by another kid or tossed in the trash, but if the kid is lucky their plush pal gets to go on a grand adventure instead.

When the staff at the Adare Manor Hotel in Ireland found a plush bunny a child had left behind they got worried, so Claire the concierge called around to see if she could locate its owner.

And while the bunny waited to be reunited with its child it enjoyed the royal treatment courtesy of the Adare Manor staff. The bunny enjoyed a relaxing nap outdoors before breakfast.

And later the lucky bunny was treated to a deep fluff massage before turning in for the night

The next day plush bunny and child were reunited, and as you can tell from the smile on her face this young lady is extremely grateful to have her plush friend back after a few scary days apart.

Woman Has DUI Charges Dropped Due To Auto-Brewery Syndrome

I'm sure most drivers charged with a DUI claim they "only had a few" when they're arrested, but a recent court case proves sometimes they're telling the truth- because they suffer from Auto-brewery syndrome.

Auto-brewery syndrome causes food and drinks to ferment in their stomachs, which can cause blood alcohol content levels to spike and result in a misreading.

A schoolteacher from upstate New York recently had her DUI charges dismissed when she submitted medical proof that her BAC was 4 times over the legal limit due to this strange syndrome.

Doctors monitored the woman for a day and discovered her average BAC was .34, four times the legal limit in New York, even though she didn't drink a drop of alcohol.

To Enter This Speakeasy You Have To Go Through An Adult Bookstore

The speakeasy trend is still going strong, but nowadays these "secret" drinking spots don't need to hide because of Prohibition laws- they're just using a gimmick to attract adventurous patrons.

But don't get me wrong, gimmicks can be fun as long as they enhance the experience, and a fun gimmick can really set the mood!

A new speakeasy in Los Angeles called Adults Only requires patrons to make their way through a video store to the adult section, where they can head behind the curtain and drink in the lap of old time luxury.

The juxtaposition of cheeky entrance and classy interior makes for a memorable speakeasy experience, and the video store isn't actually in operation so you don't have to feel like a pervert walking into the place!

God Was The Last Person David Bowie Followed On Twitter

It's natural for conspiracy theories to come crawling out of the woodwork and start skittering across the internet when a beloved celebrity we worshipped like a god dies.

David Bowie was definitely one of those gods among men, and devoted fans are still struggling to make sense of the loss, especially since Bowie was so secretive about his imminent death.

But could he have been leaving a clue for his fans via the last person he followed on Twitter?

(Image Link)

Probably not, but people with a Jareth (Thin White Duke? Ziggy Stardust?) shaped hole in their heart don't want to believe he's passed on. To them I say this- forget the God Tweets and look to Lazarus for answers...

Man Sets World Record For Most Lit Candles Extinguished By Farting

As a kid we're told farting is rude, crude and utterly offensive, because parents don't want to turn farting into a fun activity for their kids and therefore have to smell stinky farts all day.

These parents wisely gloss over the fact that there are world records for farting, and that some people have actually become famous for their farts.

A Filipino man by the name of Gerard Jessie is one of these famous farters, and here he is setting the world record for most lit candles extinguished by farting.

Hilarious Satirical Video Lampooning Die-Hard Trump Fans

It's beginning to look a lot like a presidential election year here in the United States, and yet most voters still don't know which way they're leaning since the presidential hopefuls don't fill us with much hope.

The Public Integrity Alliance of Arizona, one of the most conservative Republican groups in America, wants to help us make up our minds by eliminating one candidate from the ballot- Donald Trump.

They see Trump's plans to "Make America Great Again" as a mockery of what America really needs, so they created this viciously satirical video showing what's wrong with those who see Trump's plans as progressive.

Comedian Brian Nissen plays "Dwain" the ultimate Trump supporter in the video, and even though Trump fans should see the video as insulting they actually seem to like it, proving we've shifted over to Bizarro World after all.

Advancing The Art Of The GIF

We should not have to apologize for loving GIFs, because those little animated loops of awesomeness that bring joy into our lives a few seconds at a time are an art form all their own.

But some people feel GIFs are played out, because the internet is inundated with TV show and movie clips in GIF form, and to those fed up folks I say don't give up on GIFs just yet!

Check out the works created by artists who have chosen the GIF as their medium like Andrey Smirny, who sees the few second format as just the right amount of time to drive us wild.

Andrey's quest to bring a bit more animated eye candy into the world is taking that little looping file to a place where it can be accepted as a work of digital art, a neat little animated nugget for your eyeballs to devour.

Crazy And Dangerous Experiments Involving Powerful Neodymium Magnets

The mere mention of "dangerous experiments" makes those interested in scientific inquiry drool with delight, because while dangerous isn't always fun to do on your own it's always fun to watch!

Large and powerful magnets, like the neodymium, are inherently dangerous because they can wreak havoc on electronics including pacemakers and other implanted medical devices, so experiment at your own risk.

(YouTube Link)

Or you can simply sit back and let a guy named Brian, aka Brainiac, play with his massive neodymium magnets on video, destroying his own stuff for your science-lovin' amusement!

Brainiac has lots to see on his YouTube channel, including informative videos comparing the magnets in his collection and showing how they're delivered to his doorstep, so we can learn more about the mysteries of magnetism.

Man Has Hilarious Reaction To Finding His Car Stuck In Flooded Parking Lot

The El Niño winter has brought record breaking rainfall to California after a long drought, resulting in lots of flooding and worryingly wet conditions in normally dry and sunny cities.

These effects are most noticeable when you're driving, which virtually everyone does on a daily basis in San Diego, and those unfamiliar with the city don't realize our roads flood with ease.

One shopping mall parking garage in particular is notorious for flooding, water levels rising to three or four feet at times, yet no signs are posted to warn drivers about potential flooding during rainstorms.

(YouTube Link)

The flooding of Fashion Valley mall has become a yearly tradition in San Diego, one which the man in the video clearly wasn't warned about before he decided to go shopping!

Artist Creates Awesome 3D Portraits Using Paint Swatches

Unless you're an interior designer, house painter or someone equally concerned with adding color to the home you have very little use for those paint swatches they give out at the hardware store.

Typically people will bring a set of swatches home when they're repainting their space, and then when they're done with the recolor they throw them all away, but artist Peter Combe came up with a less wasteful use for swatches- he makes 3D portraits.

Peter takes standard paint store swatches in a full 1,100 colors and either punches them into discs or shreds them into strips before assembling them into these compelling 3D portraits.

The portraits look like a sea of swatches up close, pull back a bit and the portrait starts to take shape, but to really see how the gradation of color sells the illusion of depth you have to view them as a thumbnail:

First Person View Video Of Car Flipping Off Side Of Mountain

We've all seen cars plummeting off cliffs in movies and TV shows, usually with a low angle shot to emphasize the accident's severity, but have you ever seen a car go off the side of a cliff from the front seat?

If you answered yes then we're glad you're still with us, and that must've been some ride! For the rest of us the answer is thankfully "uh, no", and that's the way we'd like it to stay.

But thanks to this first person video shot with a dashboard GoPro by accidental daredevil TurboFoz we can see what the ride is like without risking our lives.

(YouTube Link)

TurboFoz wrote about the incident in this journal entry to warn other drivers about the danger of being distracted while driving on unfamiliar roads.
