What the world needs now are more self portrait artists like 89-year-old photographer Kimiko Nishimoto, artists who come up with creative and memorable self portraits that stick in the viewer's mind and make a lasting impression.

Kimiko has been shooting her own unique and endearing brand of self portraits for the last 17 years, taking up photography at 72 after attending a beginner's course taught by her son.

Ten years later she had her first solo exhibition at a local museum in her hometown of Kumamoto, and now her latest exhibition "Asobokane" (Let's Play) will be showing at Tokyo's Epson epsite imaging gallery from December 15th, 2017 to January 18, 2018. Cheers Kimiko!

Nobody ever said going to prison would be a walk in the park, but prison-themed movies and TV shows never really prepare you for the true horrors of life behind bars because they focus on the fighting, the raping and the shanking.
