Alaskan Moose Plays A Jaunty Tune On The Neighbor's Wind Chimes

We hang chimes outside our homes so they'll catch the wind and play us a pleasant little song, but if you live in Alaska and hang up chimes you're actually asking for a personal musical performance by a moose.

Who knew the moose was such a musical beast?

(YouTube Link)

When Healy, Alaska resident Britta Schroeder awoke to this candid moosic-al performance being played on her neighbor's wind chimes she did the right thing and filmed the show.

And just to avoid the accusations that she lured the moose into her yard the video came with this disclaimer:

Healy, Alaska – As I lay in bed this evening, I could hear my wind chime blowing up, but when I looked out the window, not even a blade of grass budged. I should clarify that the blender and the red bucket in the video are part of a paper-making project and have no food, nor have ever had food, in either. The chest freezer is also locked.

Stunning Drone Photos That Would Be Illegal To Take Today

Legislators didn't really know what to do about those mobile surveillance cameras we call drones when they first flew onto the scene, and many places are still lacking any sort of laws relating to pics taken by drones.

As the media brought people up to speed on the dangers of unchecked drone flight, and many countries passed laws to make sure they were protected against these remote controlled spies.

But these laws also inadvertantly illegalized legitimate photography, like the legitimately cool aerial photos taken by drone photographers like Amos Chapple.

Luckily Amos had two years of free flying fun under his belt before most of these laws went into effect, and his aerial images are testament to how important perspective is to the art of photography.

Supercut Of Matthew McConaughey Making Weird Noises

Matthew McConaughey may be know for his laid back "alright, alright, alright" line and the stoner persona he seemingly became after filming Dazed and Confused, but he's more than just a word said three times.

He's an actor, a runner, a surfer and the proud owner of a Lincoln MKX, and as this supercut video from Owenergy Studios shows "Matthew McConaughey Makes Noises". (NSFW due to language...or is it?!)

Matthew's not the most versatile actor, but his sound effects are out of this world!

How To Avoid Turning Into A Troll While Working From Home

(Image Link)

Working from home seems like a dream come true when you're tired of being forced to commute and sit in the same building day in and day out, but working from home also comes with a risk of turning into a troll.

Now we're not talking about the online version here, we're talking those antisocial creatures from folklore who smell and are so socially inept they end up living under a bridge because they can't fiti in with society.

If you work from home and don't want to go full troll all you have to do is work like you would anywhere else- keep your work space clean, keep to a work schedule and keep track of all tasks and deadlines.

You'll also feel like less of a troll if you keep your pants on while working, or at least bathe on a regular basis, both of which will make things a lot less awkward when you invite your fellow trolls home workers over.

But beware- day drinking often leads to a loss of pants!

Funny Animal Mugshots From Around The World

I'm not sure if animals are getting used to having their picture taken and are learning to pose for portraits, or if it just seems that way since there are so many animal pics posted online these days.

Whatever the reason, animals are posing like never before, and even wild animals seem like they're waiting for some traveler to take their pic and post them online so people around the world can see how cute they are.

Chanel and Stevo from howfarishome.com are two travelers who love to post pics on behalf of internet deprived animals, using an ultra-wide angle lens to take "mugshots" of the friendly critters they encounter while traveling around the world.

It's only a matter of time before tech companies start making smartphones for animals, and if you think social media is crazy now wait until the world's critter population starts posting!

This Cat Really Enjoys Eating Birthday Cake

Birthday cake is a really big deal when we're little kids, but as we get older it tends to lose its appeal and ends up shoved to the back of the table behind all the presents.

Decades later, when the presents stop being such a big deal and we don't eat desserts on a daily basis, the cake suddenly becomes a star again, a slice of sugary heaven that makes our age more bearable.

Humans tend to take birthday cake for granted, but for cats the cake is always a welcome treat, especially when it's covered in salmon mousse frosting.

So the next time you're feeling a bit down about your birthday think about all the pleasure this cute little kittie got from a piece of birthday cake and enjoy your big day!

Paul Reubens Shows Off His New Line Of Wigs For Kids On Conan

Paul Reubens has a rather unusual sense of style and a crazy collection of cool stuff, some of which has been featured in his fantastic films and far out TV show.

(YouTube Link)

He's also a visionary inventor whose creations make the world a much more fun place.

But for some reason Paul doesn't get many chances to promote anything but Pee-Wee when he goes on talk shows, so the unveiling of his line of wigs for kids on Conan is a rare delight.

This Psychedelic Sex Ed Video Plays Out Like A Bad Acid Trip

Kids totally trip out when their parents try to teach them about sex, so parents often look for an alternate way to introduce their kids to intercourse.

These scaredy-cat parents love to use eductional books or videos to show their kids the ropes, and sex ed videos don't come much more “alternate” than this bizarre sex ed web series from France called “Baby! Love Your Body!”.

Aside from one NSFW word that rhymes with runt (which apparently isn't a bad word in France) this video is actually made for kids- really, really strange kids who hang out with drag queens and dress like Punky Brewster.

(YouTube Link)

“Baby! Love Your Body!” doesn't really explain sexual reproduction or the ins and outs of intercourse.

But the art collective behind the video The School Of No Big Deal aren't educators- they're just a bunch of good time guys and gals discussing sex in the strangest way possible.

A Huge Gallery Celebrating The Magic Of Perfect Penmanship

(Image Link)

Penmanship is a dying artform, as fonts installed in our computers easily fake fine handwriting, but there are still lots of writers out there who choose to take up a brush, marker or pen and create beautiful letters.

But computers also help keep the love of hand lettering alive, because we're able to share our passion for the written word with people who appreciate how hard it is to render fancy looking letters by hand.

Reddit is home to the handwritten subreddit penmanshipporn, where scribblers go to show off their skills and revel in the glory of handsome handwriting!

Kat Dennings Is The Queen Of Hilarious Tweets

Kat Dennings is one of my favorite famous people, and not just because she's drop dead gorgeous and wickedly funny.

Okay, so one of those two things does influence my opinion of her quite a bit- the funny.

Kat has a unique sense of humor which she loves to share with the world via her Twitter and Instagram accounts, and if you think a star can't achieve her level of fame and still remain humble read one of her silly tweets.

There's no way the Kim K.s and Gwyneths of the world would ever let themselves be as free as Miss Dennings with their social media posts, mostly because they have people posting for them.

Kat Dennings, on the other hand, does alll the quipping and the posting for herself, so reading her tweets is like peeking through her window and watching a famous person totally winning at life.

Owners Watch Their House Burn To The Ground On Their iPhone

People install a home security camera system to make themselves feel safer, and nowadays these systems are viewable from a tablet or smartphone, so you can watch your house at all times.

But this power to visually lord over your home kingdom can be a curse too, because the same cameras that film burglars in the act stare blankly as your house burns down around them.

The home featured in this video shared by Storyful News fell victim to the Fort McMurray wildfire, and the owners were able to watch the whole fiery scene unfold on their iPhone, that is, until the smoke blocked the view...Ain't modern technology grand?

Alanis Morissette Updates Her Hit Song "Isn't It Ironic?" For The Digital Age

Isn't it ironic that Alanis Morissette's hit song "Isn't It Ironic?" isn't actually about irony at all, but rather coincidence or happenstance? I guess "Isn't It Happenstance?" didn't have the same ring to it.

Twenty years ago "Isn't It Ironic?" made Miss Morissette a household name, and nowadays she has a pretty good sense of humor about the silly pop song that earned her millions of fans.

But a lot has happened in the last twenty years, so when Alanis needed lyrics for an updated version of her song she turned to James Corden for help encapsulating the ironies of the modern age.

The True Origin Of Cthulhu

Most fans believe H.P. Lovecraft drew inspiration for the Cthulhu mythos from a variety of sources- Science fiction and mythological beings as the physical inspiration for the creatures, cosmic indifferentism and nihilism as the philosophical influence behind the stories, and horror the plot vehicle that drives the terror home.

Whelp, looks like we were wrong! Thanks for setting us straight Ethan Vincent of Oppressive Silence!

CEO Snoozes At The Office, Employees Work Overtime Photoshopping Him

Folks, you've gotta learn from the mistakes of others in this internet heavy age, and one of the lessons we've learned is don't fall asleep at work or your fellow employees will Photoshop you.

Now it seems like this rule shouldn't apply to the company CEO, because employees who mess with the boss will soon find themselves without a job or a reference.

But it appears some CEOs are actually cool enough to handle some digital degredation, as long as the employees use the company's own app to mess with their image.

Zeev Farbman, CEO of software company Lightricks, was in his office catching a few z's between meetings when someone snapped a pic of him snoozing.

Seeing the opportunity to "test" their image manipulation app Enlight and poke fun at the boss at the same time, the employees set about "Enlightening" the pic in glorious ways.

Next thing you know Zeev was posing for portrait artists, dancing with the Bolshoi and starting a new life as an overpriced Shake Weight. How cool is that?!
