My pet peeve was why Harry Potter and his gang never snapped the wands in half whenever they disarmed the bad guys. Snap their wands and they are pretty powerless.

FYI, this is NO ordinary rock. This is the 'rock on a block' rock. I bought one and put it on a block. Next day it was sitting on a bookshelf. The next morning it was holding a door ajar. My dogs would start barking at it in the middle of the night. I would pick it up and return it to it's block but it would be gone come morning. I painted it, put a happy face on it. I can't be sure but sometimes it doesn't look happy, IMO. It's eyes glow red at night. I don't think that's normal. The cat put it in the litter box one day. The dogs tried to bury it outside. I threw it into the neighbor's window- I mean yard!- but it was back on it's block the very next day. Frankly, this rock scares me. If anyone wants to adopt it this can be arranged. I'd be cool with that...

People can be so kind. It's this sort of humanity that makes me cry tears of thankfulness. These people are blessed for their kindness. They truly know what it is to live their faith and to help ALL people regardless of their religious beliefs.

Some people in their formative years put a lot of effort into learning the English language and how words are spelled. Some people take pride in knowing how to spell words properly AND there are some people who find it offensive to have to muck through half literate people who really don't give a damn how words are spelled and are mostly hooked on phonics.
I guess they would be called Grammar Nazis. But I disagree with that label. I see no wrong in wanting to use the English language the way it was supposed to be used.

Off topic, know, but I'd love to see a video of cats with bugs. My cat, C.R., loved to catch june bugs in his mouth. He wouldn't kill them. He'd just happily strut around with one in his mouth while the bug would buzz and struggle to get away. Eventually he'd drop it and let the bug go off into the grass.

I remember my parents telling me about some man they knew that thought it was really funny to mess with his kid's head. He convinced the boy that mashed potatoes on an ice cream cone was really ice cream. He was such a jerk.
I was just a kid at the time but if I had been an adult I would have contacted children's services about this clown. I just don't understand why people would do things like that to their own children.

When I had a home that had an inground pool I would take my 2 dogs out to the pool for a swim. Just holding one of them above the water would make her immediately start doing the 'dog paddle' which was her trying to swim in anticipation of becoming wet even though she was in non-existent water.
We got them inflatable boats and the S.S. Salty Dog and the S.S. Lickety Spit would sail off into the calm waters of our pool while we mere humans had to immerse ourselves in the water without such fun floats.

Too easy, IMO. I read something a while back about these search and find puzzles. It said the subjects are never found in the lower right hand corner of any search but they are usually in the upper right hand corner or along the left hand side of the frame. So far this has been pretty true, IMO.
