Nope, it's squirrels. My dog chased a squirrel across our lawn and over to our neighbor's yard where the squirrel ran up the tree evading my dog's teeth. Now, more than 4 year later, whenever my dog goes outside for a "biznizz meeting" the first thing she does is run over to 'the squirrel tree' on the offchance that elusive squirrel is hanging about so Ms Genny Freckles can hunt it down. Squirrels are what doggy dreams are made of.
My father taught me how to make pierogis and gawumpkis(?) which is stuffed meat and rice filled cabbage leaves. The pierogis recipe is simple, enough but it takes long hours to make. The filling which consists of cottage cheese (or farmer's cheese), egg, plain mashed potatoes, pepper and salt is a very satisfying filler. When my kids were small, if I had any leftover filling I would heat it on the stove until it melted down into a sort of pudding which my kids absolutely loved to eat.
At this point in my life I would welcome a week free from pain. Chronic pain takes a horrible toll on the human body and I would welcome the chance to be pain free.
They will never stop making real cheese, IMO. It's been around for thousands of years and while cheese food products are found in many places now I refuse to believe real cheese will become extinct. Same for butter.
It could be the wee folk. They enjoy moving your keys and stuff but if you ask nicely they will bring them back. Also, if something's missing and you really want it back then perhaps prayer and fierce concentration will bring it back. That happened to me when I lost a silver figure from my charm bracelet. 3 weeks went by and I kept concentrating on having it come back. Then one day I go into the bedroom and sit down in a chair still wanting my charm back and it fell down from above me right on to my lap. So, crazy though these 2 cases might be, I have experienced both and I know they are real.
