It's always bothered me how 'clean' death is in movies, tv, videos, etc. People rarely just up and die when shot in real life. There's blood and 'debris' everywhere, the person might be screaming, moaning, whatever. Death can be hard not easy. Some faces are not looking like they are sleeping like in those shows. But I think these producers don't want a real life sort of death in their shows or maybe the actors just want to look pretty even in death? Whatever. But it's a big con to keep this lie going, IMO. If they make death look more realistic then maybe people will think 2x before doing some violence. Oh, who am I kidding besides myself?

I lived near Lake Charles, Louisiana for ten very long, very lonely years. Southern hospitality only applies to friends and relatives. We joined a church hoping to make friends. I can't tell you how many times folks said we should get together and nothing ever happened. I was having health problems that prevented me from attending church and the pastor told my husband she intended to come visit me. For 3 years she kept promising and she was a no show. As far as I can attest there is no such thing as southern hospitality for strangers.

IF Linda Skeens ever does come forward to claim her ribbons and identity would you please let us know what she looks like and perhaps do an interview? Please do a follow up.

That was so sweet. Trey was very kind to Jovi. I smiled through the whole song which I had never heard before. I hope Jovi will remember her duet with Trey for a very long time. I still don't know who had the biggest smile or the best time singing that song.

My dad loved Star Trek. If I remember correctly it came on at 10pm on Friday nights and my dad was adamant that we had to be home in time for Star Trek to be on. I, myself, am a Star Trek fan and I credit my dad for that. A great parody of all things Star Trek is the Tim Allen movie "Galaxy Quest".

As one who had her own business making and selling artworks for over 30 years I found it challenging to find feathers that mimicked eagle and red tail hawk feathers. Non indigenous Americans are not allowed to sell or even own birds of prey feathers- most importantly eagle feathers. Vulture feathers look nearly identical to eagle feathers except for the coloring on the spines. Female peacock feathers are perfect for looking just like red tail hawk feathers. Where am I going with this comment? Only just to inform anyone interested in feathers that peacock feathers are beautiful and can make some fabulous artworks.

All of my grandfather's relatives in Poland (except 1 brother) were killed at Aushwitz. They were Catholics. The one brother who survived the camp was one of Dr Mengele's guinea pigs. He performed vivisection on my great uncle's arms without anesthesia and he survived the war. For the rest of his life his arms shook like crazy from the nerve damage inflicted by Mengele.

I would suggest visiting Rockport/Glousester Mass. for a fun time. Gorton's has a fishing fleet that comes in to port so they can process the fish for their frozen food company and the smell of the batter frying is heavenly. The Glousester House is a very old restaurant on a pier that has incredible food. The stuffed lobster is a stand out dish. Rockport is an artist colony with a number of shops built on piers where you can find unique art works and marvelous oil paintings. So much to see and do in these side by side towns. I was born in Boston so I love going back to Massachusetts whenever I can.

My family never had wonder bread. It was always whole grain and eventually my dad started making his own bread which was as heavy as a brick. One year when I went off to a 4H camp in the summer the camp only served wonder bread with it's meals. The lake had blue gills and sun fish and I found that the best bait for catching these fish was by making compressed little balls of wonder bread on a hook. I caught a fish every time I did this. Threw the fish back, too.
