The new article says this happened at a university in Harbin, and the BBC article quoted at Neatorama from last year says Taiwan. But the Yahoo article cited here makes it clear that this sow is one of the same pigs. I also found an MSNBC article from last year that said the research was done in Harbin, but gave photo credit to the university in Taiwan.
Sure, its a joke. BUT, they better had made sure that the end of that extension cord was a LONG way from any outlets, or some unsuspecting person could've walked by and assumed that it had come unplugged accidently...
anon, the article at Dark Roasted Blend says that some of the same artists are involved, but it doesn't specify who. It's probably clear in the French site...
A guy did that once while I was riding on the back of the motorcycle. But he didn't keep his hands in his pockets! That was a long time ago, when I was a teenager. I believe I was covering my eyes most of the time.
Priceless. Love the song! Since geeks and weddings are two of my pet subjects, I'm familiar with most of the pictures. But the one with the guys wearing kilts is not really geek, that's quite traditional. I love kilts. But then, I'm kinda geeky, too.
Pablo, that would cut the profits, too. But Campbell's does contribute to food banks; I don't know how much. This is a clever display, but I'm sure a lot of folks took cans off it to buy for their own pantries.
I need to move.
