I see some symbolism - the adults are the conservatives who try to ignore the situation, the girl represents activists trying to do something, the baby represents generations yet to come who will suffer because of past generations' indifference.

Amazing! Makes me want to see the whole movie as anime.

I see shades of Miyazaki's Spirited Away in this one.

I'm certainly glad not to have watched any of these all the way--something tells me these are actually the highlights from these movies. Good grief, who could have believed these were released in any form?

Bert and Ernie were on Sesame Street back in 1969-- about the same time the movie, The Odd Couple appeared and the later TV series aired. By the way, they were named for the cop and cab driver in "Its a Wonderful Life."
In 1994, a Penticostal minister declared war on Bert and Ernie, and soon, The New York Times and TV Guide got involved.
