Ten miners married their sweethearts Saturday a thousand feet underground in the Shanxi province of China. Why? It’s a stunt aimed at making China’s coal-mining industry (the deadliest in the world) less depressing. Mine manager Liu Suisheng indicated they are trying for an entry in the Guiness Book of World Records for the largest simultaneous underground wedding.
