stacey, I don't see where you get "less than 10% go on the have the baby". If you are using the birthrate per year, that does NOT reflect the "53% get pregnant in their teens", because a girl's teen years cover more than one year.

I once bought a house within walking distance of my workplace. Then the workplace up and moved several miles out of town! The next house I bought was in walking distance of the kids' school, since I work at home. I still have to drive to buy groceries, now that all the mom and pop shops downtown are gone.
I have a friend who moved from Arizona to Alaska and it took her quite a while to get used to the long summer days and long winter nights. And she's not even near the Arctic Circle! For me, I think the extreme cold would be harder to deal with!
