I don't see it as "callous and selfish" to want to bear children. It takes years of your life, all of your money, and a big piece of your heart to birth and raise kids, and people do it because they love kids.
On the other hand, I did think that a family with five boys would have better odds of achieving a girl through adoption next time. I know several families who've done it for that reason. You also have to remember that adoption is usually much more difficult than producing your own kids.
I don't know about other superpowers, but the U.S. invaded Afghanistan in October of 2001 because we were very severely pissed off. Surely you recall that.
It doesn't really matter, but I wouldn't use that 25 cents a bottle stuff from the Dollar Store, because it is way diluted. Dishwashing liquid and glycerin with enough water to give it the right consistency is a standard bubble recipe.
Number two is a little outdated. I thought, well, there's no use setting clocks until the electricity comes back on, and when it does, your computer which is hooked to the internet will tell you what time it is. Or he set the time on his cell phone while he was at Amy's house. Or maybe Brian is wearing a watch. Or for goodness' sake, there may actually be a clock in the house somewhere that isn't electronic. Besides, he should have just called Amy.
