Keep it simple. Smoke-Beep everything else ist just crap. Just imagine, a more pleasing sound just like a soundmail:"I didn't start the fire, but the house is burning and the word keeps turning, i didn start the fire, it will still burn on and on and on..I didn't light it but you did't fight it as you keep singing along and along..." to the tune of Billy Joel...
The problem is, people will see this video and think they can do it too. It's akin to the video of people going beneath an overpass to escape a tornado - makes doing something very dangerous look safe. Kids, DON'T try this at home - or anywhere else!
I have two thoughts. First, the publicity of this incident is worth more than the painting (and the painting's worth is a number plucked from thin air, since there is no buyer). Second, the paint cans should not have held fresh, usable paint in an exhibit of an artwork that is five years old. If you put those two things together, you may start to suspect that this was a setup.
I don't imagine you'd want something you could only steer by leaning to go faster. While it would complicate the whole thing substantially, I think it would be a lot more appealing with parallel twin track units that would respond differentially to the handlebars.
I'd want to see a roll bar. This thing looks too narrow for off-road stability, and it would suck to have it crush your leg in a roll-over. Also, why so slow?
