Ah! This is the calipers of the long-forgotten science of linguanology, an off-shoot of phrenology. Linguanology theorizes that the thickness and width of your tongue determines your intelligence and personality.

It's a spring loaded hanger for Peking Duck. The carcass is normally hung to dry the skin. You squeeze the two prongs together to fit the hanger into the cavity, and then let them spring back so the hanger won't come out. Now the duck can be hung conveniently by the ring!
. . . or something.

Very nice invention, really very nice, and a better retro-fit solution and way better cushioning than omni-wheels.
Cool but where is the valve?
More important can i get some as wide base tyres?
Or as bias beltet tyres?
Which thread patterns are available? Offroad? Winter?
And most important, what is the speed rating of the tyres?
Is there any puncture proof / runflat version?
I would see a very good application in automated indoor vehicles...
It would also be possible to economize the steerable front wheels of a car...
Just a very nice invention...

Her face is great. So few wrinkles.

But please don't emulate the endurance running regimen in the hopes that it is the magic elixir. It's actually not that great for you. The evidence highly favors High Intensity Interval Training, which is healthier and much more efficient for cardiovascular exercise. (I hate it when Good Examples act like the secret to exemplar health is waking up in the middle of the night and exercising all day: it's false and rudely discouraging to normal people. She's got good genes, but regular people can age near optimally with a relatively modest amount of self-disciple.)

And weightlifting is a must for older people.
