Taco Bell is known for creating crazy foods, but it's one thing to make a taco shell out of a piece of fried chicken and a whole different thing to add spicy Pop Rocks to a burrito -and that's just what they've started doing. The new creation, called the Firecracker Burrito is only available at four test locations in Orange County and it features rice, nacho cheese, sour cream, beef, and red tortilla strips. What makes it truly bizarro though is the option to get a side of "popping crystals," which are essentially chili-flavored Pop Rocks that give it a "sweet-spicy flavor along with a fizzy texture," according to Foodbeast.
Personally, I'll take my candy far away from my burritos, thanks.

Real food fans know that Cheetos are one of the finer things in life and now, for three glorious days (August 15-17), the snack food company itself will be running a restaurant in New York, called the Spotted Cheetah, where every item features some kind of Cheetos product. The menu consists of:
Cheetos Crusted Fried Pickles; Creamy Ranch, Cheetos Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup; Cheetos Meatballs; Purrfectly Fried Green Tomatoes (breaded with White Cheddar Cheetos crust); Flamin' Hot and White Cheddar Mac n' Cheetos; Cheetos Mix-ups Crusted Chicken Milanese; Spicy Cheetos Nachos; and Flamin' Hot Limon Chicken Tacos.
But save room for dessert, which consists of Cheetos Sweetos Crusted Cheesecake; Cheetos Sweetos Sweet and Salty Cookies; and White Cheddar Cheetos and Cheetos Sweetos Apple Crepes. Those might sound strange, but if you've had the Cheetos Sweetos, you already know how sweet Cheetos are surprisingly tasty.

Film maker Pei Yan Heng was at the beach in Cyrene Reef, Singapore in 2013 when he stumbled upon an octopus stranded far above the water line. Pei filled up a cup of water and scooped up the octopus before releasing him back into the sea. After taking a moment to recover, the octopus went to his rescuer's shoe and hugged it with his tentacle in a sincere thank you gesture.

Is your cat a style maven? Well then he or she is probably having a hissy fit that you didn't bring him or her to the annual Algonquin Hotel Cat Fashion Show in New York. As always, the fashions were top notch and the kittens cute as possible.
The fun event isn't just to celebrate kitty couture, it's also a fundraiser to support the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals. Over $12,000 was raised between ticket sales and a silent auction and three kitties were adopted from the group's adoption van stationed outside.

If you've ever lived somewhere where a lot of tourists visit, then you know how annoying they can be when they don't respect your local customs and habits. Travel and Leisure talked to people from 14 different countries and asked them what the most annoying thing tourists do when visiting.
One Italian, for example, complained that "Foreigners are pretty convinced that Italy is a lovely land without laws [...] and they think they can do everything they want. Well, let me tell you a tiny little thing: YOU CAN'T. You can't have a bath in the Trevi Fountain. You can't pee in the streets in the middle of the night. You can't climb the several statues that adorn our historic centres (they were made by Bernini, Canova or Michelangelo you fools, have some respect for our geniuses!)."

Being a Hollywood assistant is anything but glamorous. It requires dealing with huge egos and their eccentric requests. LAist rounded up some of the worst Hollywood assistant stories they could find and the results range from infuriating to disturbing. For example, this baffling story:
Once my boss gave me a Christmas card to mail out that said "Deck the Halls with Cows and Collies" and had a picture of cows and collies in Santa hats. She threw it at me and said "I don't understand it, explain it in black ink at the top.
And apparently, there's a Porsche just sitting downtown waiting for someoen to take it thanks to one of the assistant's bosses:
I worked at a big agency in the TV lit department for one of the partners. He walked in and told me that he needed help finding his Porsche. I thought that he’d parked it in the garage and needed help figuring out where he parked. Nope. He’d gone to run an errand (read: probably get in touch with his drug dealer) and LOST HIS PORSCHE somewhere in Beverly Hills. I asked if he’d used the key clicker to find it and he screamed for like five minutes about how I was supposed to have told him that his clicker would’ve helped him. Regardless, I had to drive my ass to BH and wander around for four hours trying to retrace his steps (sidebar: do you know how awkward it to walk up to random Porsche’s and inspect them to see if it’s your bosses car? YEAH. I almost got arrested two times. By the time I got back, there was no issue—why? He’d gone out and bought a new Porsche. I asked what he was going to do about the old one and he shrugged and went, “Eh. Leave it.” So, somewhere in the clean pressed, assistant-tear-lined streets of Beverly Hills, THERE IS A FREE PORSCHE.
