While the Sistine Chapel is gorgeous, it's not the only notable ceiling in the world. WebUrbanist has a great collection of stunning modern ceilings for your viewing pleasure.

21 Things You Won't Believe You Can Learn On eHow

Geekosystem has a hilarious list of subjects you won't believe eHow claims it can teach you. I particularly like the one above and "how to use superglue to fix a tooth," which is conveniently followed by "how to remove superglue from a tooth." You stay classy eHow.

10 Artworks Recreated On Faces

Andy Alcala, a student at the University of Iowa, took the term "face value" quite literally when he decided to reinterpret some of the most famous paintings in the world as face paintings. They're quite entertaining and visually stunning.

Lego Animals Take Over The Bronx Zoo

After the Bronx Zoo lost their cobra earlier this year, they decided to invest in some animals that won't be able to escape.

Just kidding, the Lego critters are a special art installation, placed just outside the enclosures of their real-life lookalikes. See more pics at the link.

A Less Official (More Accurate) Comic Con Bingo

Stacy just posted a Comedy Central take on Comic Con Bingo, but personally, as a frequent attendee, I find the Last Gasp Bookstore's Bingo board to be a little more accurate. So far I'm sill looking for a furry and a klingon, but other than that, all of my squares would be blacked out so far. If you're at the convention, grab a board from the Last Gasp booth and you can win prizes when you fill get a Bingo with picture evidence of your discoveries.

Bite Your Tongue Geeks

Sure the geek-revolution is great for those of us who read Neatorama, but what about the jocks and pop-culture lovers? They're tired of getting picked on by the more intelligent among us. This PSA reminds us that words hurt and sometimes geeks need to just bite their tongue.

The Nation's Strangest Hot Dogs

I love hot dogs, but usually I go for the standard toppings. For those of you with more adventurous palates though, Serious Eats has a great selection of bizarre but delicious dog toppings from restaurants around the nation. My favorite are the turkey dogs above with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and a side of cranberry sauce. Yum!

Knitted Tardis Socks

I have to admit, I'm a bit obsessed with socks, which is why I desperately want a pair of these knitted Tardis socks. While the pattern is available online, I still don't know how to knit, so it might be a while before I get a functional pair of socks, let alone socks with a recognizable Tardis.

Can Playgrounds Be Too Safe?

When I was a kiddo, my favorite playground activities were climbing to the top of the monkey bars and spinning way too fast on the merry-go-round. Since then, playgrounds have become increasingly more safe, and according to the New York Times, less mentally stimulating. The article argues that these changes have resulted in kids being less willing to take risks and more of them developing life-long fears -things that are a lot worse than an occasional broken bone.

A Temple Made From Beer Bottles

Now here's a place Homer Simpson could really worship, the Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew Temple in Thailand. It's made from over 1.5 million green Heineken and brown Chang beer bottles.

Two Years of Tiny Knitting

Anna Hrachovec knits a lot, but always in little quantities as you can tell from the pictures of her projects above. At one point, she challenged herself to make one tiny knitted project per week and since that point, she's stayed on the schedule for two years straight. Over at Craftzine, you can read a great interview with her where she reflects on the project and on her cute creations. It's a pretty fun read if you have time.

Apparently this popsicle that looks like a banana actually tastes like grape and vanilla. Any of you live in Hong Kong and want to send me one?

Chihuahua Stops Robbery

I'd like to point out that while it's obvious these are some seriously wussy robbers, this is also one tough little chihuahua.

Rhett & Link's Presidential Car Wash Commercial

(Video Link)

If you guys have IFC, I highly recommend checking out one of their newest shows, Rhett & Link: Commercial Kings. Essentially, the show follows around these two video-makers who create hilarious local commercials that are pretty much all destined to become viral successes. The one above is my favorite so far.

Have you guys checked it out? If so, do you like it?
