Creme Brulee Cookies

Admit it, the best part of the creme brulee is the delicious, crunchy crust. These cookies take that magical crust and a little vanilla pudding and add them to soft sugar cookies for a creme brulee treat that requires no spoons or forks. Best of all, they're incredibly simple to make!

This Pillow Is Just Plain Terrible

(Video Link)

Or at least this squirrley cat seems to think it is. According to the most popular comment on YouTube, the kitty ends up drowning the pillow because, as everyone knows, "Pillows can't breathe below bed-level."

When Modern Games Go 8-Bit

What would your favorite modern game look like if it was still a classic 8-bit Nintendo game? 72 Pins has answered that question with their great NEStolgia posters.

Aside from games, they also designed a few popular TV shows as vintage Nintendo games as well. I'm particularly fond of the Arrested Development set. In fact, I'd love to play Dr. Funke, which is presumably a lot like Dr. Mario only filled with terrible and unintentional inuendos.

Are These The Breast Milk Lollipops You've Been Waiting For?

Have you been wishing for something that tastes like breast milk, but doesn't actually contain the bodily fluid of another human being? Well then, look no further than this vegan breast milk lollipop. While I can't tell you why someone would actually want a breast milk lollipop, the company's owner did express why he decided not to use actual breast milk in the products, saying "Managing that would be a logistical nightmare.”

Cthulhu Is Looking Rather Gentlemanly

Sure, the horse, chicken and pigeon masks we sell in the Neatoshop are cool, but if you really want to blow someone's mind, try wearing a mask of something that's not from the realm of man. Artist Ian Langohr recently made this cthulhu mask and I'm really hoping he puts up a video on how it was made, the same way he did with his zombie cat mask.

A True Test of Any Corgi

(Video Link)

Sure, those short legs might be why corgis are adored around the world (especially on the internet), but for practical purposes, they can be a little bit of a pain in the critter's adorable butt. On the upside, even their struggle with their short legs is still simply precious.

Stan Lee Cologne

For those who have ever read a Marvel comic and thought, "gee, Stan Lee knows so much about life and the world. I bet he's great with women. In fact, I wish I could smell like him," there is hope. Now you can smell like Stan Lee, or at least what Stan Lee thinks his signature smell should smell like, thanks to the Stan Lee signature cologne.

These AT-ATs Just Want to Know Where They're Registered

People are so prejudiced. Just because someone arrives in an AT-AT, you just assume they're trying to kill you. Of course, if these people had just listed where they registered on the invitations, then these surprise guests could have shopped for a gift ahead of time rather than trying to swing by a store before hitting the ceremony.

Well, at least Little Blue Lemon Photography was there to get this unforgettable wedding shot.

This Bird Knows How to Take It Easy

I like pet birds, but they always seem so high maintenance with the flying and the talking/singing. I think I could handle a bird like Casper though, he knows how to take a load of and kick back.

10 Seriously Weird Food Trucks

There are some seriously goofy food trucks out there. In fact, I saw an Italian one just today with a horn that played the Godfather theme. That being said, most of these trucks are pretty standard with a goofy name and a few silly puns. Jalopnik has ten of the craziest ones out there though, including one truck that specializes in the potentially deadly fugu fish.

Thanks, but I'll stick with the giant metal pig truck that serves pulled pork.

"Does The Dog Die" Can Save You Serious Heart Ache

It might be a spoiler alert for some films, but Does the Dog Die can stop you from shedding a whole slew of tears. The purpose of the site is pretty clear give the name: you can search for any film to find out if animals die in it. The site will also tell you if an animal gets hurt or appears dead, but ultimately ends up ok.

If you had this as a kid, maybe you could avoid having your heart ripped out when you watch the end of Old Yeller.

The Perfect Bouquet For Father's Day

Dad doesn't want flowers for Father's Day. He wants something manly, like beer and food. What better way to give him beer and food on his special day than with a cupcake bouquet with cupcakes that include beer?

There is one way you could make this gift more awesome though...throw some chocolate-covered bacon bits on these cupcakes.

Make Your Green Lantern Ring Glow

Most Green Lantern rings are about as lame as the movie, but you can make yours glow with a little bit of hacking as described in this great Instructable by Multi-Bot. Of course, you'll have to wait until 3D printing gets a lot better before you can use it to make a gun or sledgehammer to wipe out your enemies.

The Wonderful Sights and Strange Tastes of the San Diego Fair

This Saturday, Zeon and I took a trip to the opening day at the San Diego County Fair. While we were there, we got to see a lot of cool things -especially cute farm animals, and we ate some seriously weird (but delicious foods). Here's how the day went down.

We arrived at the fair reasonably late, some time around 4, but given as how the fair is open until midnight that still left us plenty of time to explore. We immediately hit the first building to our left, which houses the flower displays and all of the hot tub salespeople you can imagine. That's when we got our first smell of something absolutely heavenly...grilled corn. We didn't have any since we grill our own corn whenever we barbecue, but man did it smell like heaven.

After we got over the distracting smell of grilled corn, we started checking out the flower displays, and while most were rather avant-garde like this one:

There were also quite a few that fell in line with this year's fair theme, "Game On."

Of course, my personal favorite was the only gaming-inspired flower creation.

After leaving the building, we entered one of the many food-filled areas and were immediately welcomed by a travelling incarnation of LA's famous Pink's Hot Dogs

Right beside Pink's was one of the truly magnificent eateries of the fair, the Bacon-A-Fair, which sells chocolate-covered bacon, bacon-flavored root beer, beer-battered bacon...

two-pound turkey legs wrapped in one pound of bacon...

and all kinds of bacon-y, delicious treats. Notice their sign warning that they offer no vegetarian, kosher, halal, salt-free, fat-free or taste-free foods.
