The Best Aquaman Crossplay We Could Hope For

Last month, we showed you what 13 classic geek characters would look like as pin ups, and here's another one to add to the collection -Aquaman, well, at least the rule 63 version. Would she be Aquawoman then?

Either way, she certainly looks lovely and with the exception of the heels, her outfit looks like it would be perfect for lounging on the beach, below the waves or fighting crime. I do wonder if swimming in high heels is easier than walking in them though, because they do seem a little less than functional when it comes to performing superheroic feats.

Tastes Like Blocks of Time and Space

What's better than Minecraft? How about Minecraft mixed with Doctor Who? Well, maybe not everyone will agree, but if you're a Whovian who can't stop digging for diamonds, gold and dungeons (like me), you will. And this cake by the Regali Kitchen has all the Whovian Minecraftian goodness you can stand with wonderful blocks of fondant frosting and a nice Doctor avatar ready to take on a blocky weeping angel and Dalek. Just hope you don't end up biting into a block of diamond while you munch down.

He's Cute Enough to Eat, But Don't Even Try It

Finally, a meaty burger with a bite. Just kidding. This delicious burger may be a feast for the eyes, but not for your tummy. If you're looking for a tasty treat for your favorite turtle, head over to the Etsy shop of Katie Bradley and grab this burger cozie. Of course, if you prefer tacos, crab, apples or other foods, she still has you covered no matter what your culinary preferences.

If you're looking for something a little more seasonal, Katie also sells roast turkey, reindeer and Santa hat kozies. She also sells birthday cake outfits so you can help your little turtle celebrate his or her many birthdays in style.

20 Cool Facts About Pulp Fiction

These days, a $5 milkshake isn't all that unheard of, but Pulp Fiction is still a brilliant movie that (mostly) doesn't feel dated. If you're a big fan of the flick, you certainly won't want to miss this cool Uproxx article featuring 20 neat facts about Pulp Fiction. For example, Vincent Vega's Malibu seen in the film actually belonged to Tarantino and was stolen while the movie was in production -the car was only recovered by police earlier this year!

By the way, the note about Fruit Brute not being around any more isn't entirely true. They just re-released the product for Halloween this year. In fact, I have a box in my cupboard right now.

Felted Star Wars Tributes

I bought felting supplies a while ago to try it out, but somehow managed to lose my felt within a week (I'm not the most organized person). It seems like it would be easy enough to learn but difficult to master like most crafts.

Etsy seller Famished sells amazing felted works of art that show just how much you can do when you actually master the craft. While most of the shop's creations are Star Wars inspired, there are other great geek felted creations like Totoro.

Pizza Nachos Are The Ultimate In Snacking Goodness

I don't know about you, but it's sometimes incredibly hard to choose between munching on pizza and nachos. Fortunately, Two Peas and Their Pod has figured out how to combine the two into one bizarre and wonderful snack favorites.

Aside from the obvious topping crossovers like pepperoni, olives, red onions and bell peppers, the nachos also have a great mashup flavor with a rich, garlic cream sauce. Alternatively, a spicy tomato sauce like arribiata would be a great blend between tomato sauce and salsa.

The Twin Peaks Fashion Line

Looking to dress up in something as fabulously mysterious and beautiful as David Lynch's television masterpiece Twin Peaks? Then maybe you could check out the new Twin Peaks fashion line from Suckers Apparel. This dress in particular is inspired by the famous Welcome to Twin Peaks sign that was shown in the show's opening credits, but there are other outfits inspired by the show's characters such as Laura Palmer and Audrey Horne.

Of course, the most excitingly nerdy item in the new line is the Log Lady leggings.

Caffeinate Any Food With CaffeinAll

Sometimes you want to wake up in the morning, but you just can't stand the idea of drinking coffee, tea or soda. While there have been plenty of caffeinated foods released over the last few years, up until now your eggs, bagels and waffles have remained disappointingly unpeppy. Fortunately, all that's about to change thanks to a new product known as CaffeinAll. Put this stuff next to your salt and pepper on your table so you can spice up your food and then pep it up. Just be careful you don't sprinkle on a little too much energy or you could, you know, die.

Do You Need Meat On Your Donuts?

Love donuts and barbecue? How about both at the same time? Thanks to Gourdough's Donuts in Texas you now can. While the image above might look like some sort of strange Buffalo chicken and blue cheese concoction, it's actually the Boss Hogg donut -a cake one covered in potato salad, pulled pork and BBQ sauce.

If that doesn't suit your fancy, maybe the Mother Clucker will. This monstrosity is a cake donut topped with two fried chicken strips and honey butter.

Of course, if you like boring old non-meaty donuts, maybe you'd enjoy the Funky Monkey that is topped with cream cheese icing, bananas and brown sugar -essentially a banana foster donut. Bourbon and Boots has descriptions and photos of these delights and more.

Teddy's Ready For Pumpkin Pie Season

(Video Link)

Sure it's a Halloween video -the cauldron is evidence enough of that, but seeing Teddy the porcupine enjoy a tasty bucket of mini pumpkins is always a fun treat any time of year. Besides, I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to get some pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving, especially since I have a whole pile of fresh pumpkin puree in my fridge right now. Of course, I won't look nearly as cute munching down as little Teddy here, nor will I make nearly as much noise while doing so.

What Historical Icons Would Post If They Had Instagram

Ever wonder what famous historical figures like William Shakespeare, Cleopatra and Charles Schulz would post if they used Instagram? Then you'll want to check out the new Tumblr, Histagram, which features just such hilarious and delightful treats.

Of course, not all of them are actually historical people. In fact, some of my favorites aren't people at all. T rex up there is just a critter who happens to be at the right place at the wrong time for the ultimate in deadly selfies. I also love this City of troy thank you for the lovely wooden horse they received.

When Street Signs Are Hit By Walkers

To promote The Walking Dead in France, the television network NT1 zombified a number of local road signs. With only a few small stickers, the company changed every day street signs into Walking Dead signs.

Of course, to make things really go viral, they encouranged people to tweet about the signs with the hash tag #streetargh, which was put on the bottom of most of the signs to provide people with the correct tags. You can check out more of the signs on the official Tumbr, Street Argh.

Stuffing Waffles With Gravy Syrup

We've previously discovered an odd array of foods you can prepare in a waffle iron, but we had no idea you could make pre-cooked stuffing into a waffle. If you're wondering why someone would squish stuffing into a waffle iron, then you probably aren't one of those who love the crispy edge bits of stuffing the most. For those that are, this is a great way to maximize your stuffing's crunchy edges. As for the topping, it's precisely what it looks like -gravy blended with maple syrup for a sweet, savory, moist topping for your crispy waffle stuffing.

Trotter Is The Most Fabulously Fashionable Pooch On Instagram

You might think you have a good fashion sense, but chances are that Trotter, the best dressed pooch on Instagram is still infinately more fashionable than you. You probably have seen the precious little French bulldog in her top hat and pipe since the image has been around the net for a while now, but that's only one of Trotter's amazing fashions. Above she shows off her Spring Break Mexico ensemble and below is her take on Richie Tenenbaum of The Royal Tenenbaums -though she should have a tennis ball rather than a soccer ball.

Sit In Your Own Iron Throne

Sure, you can buy a life-size, officially-licensed replica of the Game of Thrones Iron Throne, but that will cost you -$30,000 in fact. If you'd rather not throw down the yearly wage of many American workers just to geek out in your own living room, the balloon sculpture version is nice, but you can't really sit in it. That's why I suggest heading over to Instructables, where user flaming pele can show you how to make a functional Iron Throne with a plastic chair, foam insullation, yard sticks and a few other inexpensive home supply items. It's the next best thing to actually melting down the swords of your enemies.
