I applaud him for finding his niche in the world. If only there were a contest for someone who could ...

Before I give my answer, maybe this should be turned into a contest? What quirky contest could you win if the rules were something like "memorize a long list of nonsense words and arrange them in an arbitrary way to score points."

I have very strong feeling on this subject. To keep it short, I am leaving out personal choices and sticking to two topics: Math and Life Skills.
Math needs to be way accelerated. Skip Geometry. Algebra early. College level calculus senior year. Students can opt out after basic algebra.
Life skills should be taught even if it is as lame as the Health classes I took on junior high.

Back then computer hardware was much more reliability. The original IBM PC was built to a standard that achieved a mean-time-to-failure of 20 years. This is mainly due to pin-in-hole technology and low density silicon.

However, without surface mount technology and ultra high density chips, smart phones would be impossible.

This is gold!

Family member freak out, pros turn slowly and say, "Unfortunately for you, this is interesting for me." Then the discussions start.

I agree. I know of Palmer's work. Since Facebook allows page owners to block individuals, methinks his "screen captures" are never seen in the wild.
