Viral marketing - create a buzz - get free press and word-of-mouth exposure.

Here's what I think is happening in the photos...

The garment itself is just an idea. Check out her website - she has a number of creative ideas, most of which aren't practical.

She made the garment on the left and either tried it and realized that it was too difficult to really pull off. The picture on the left is of her naked and untanned with the floral pattern Photoshopped onto it.
