Art suffers when subjectivity is taken out of it - if anything can be interpreted as art, then art will (or has it already?) become a catch-all term for miscellaneous garbage.

Thanks not with stupid - what made these comics so valuable is their rarity. New comics are printed in such abundance that they're unlikely to be valuable any time soon (or at all).
HEY! I actually owned the Stephen Hayes book as a kid! Used to think I'd grow up to be a ninja and all that. Now I just blog for fun - how sad.... BRB, must steal some peaches...
I admit it's a little "niche" for general audience, but most people still get the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle reference though they may not get the Lenard and White Jew reference.
