Re: records - Tom Sietas is the current world record holder for static apnea at 9 minutes and 8 seconds. I think this is the record broken by David Merlini.
It's excellent that National Geographic has joined with YouTube to provide clips of their show. Definitely a good move to reach a greater audience, web 2.0-style!

But if you read Neatorama regularly you'll know by now that I suffer from typsophilia, a typso-causing typing disease caused by fat fingers and frequent brain farts....
