One of my neighbours recently taught me this trick that's really worked for me. When you're introduced to someone, link their name to someone you already know with the same name. It doesn't help me when I meet a lot of people at the same time, but whenever I've met just one or two people, I've gone from remembering no names to remembering all the names.
I badly burned my hand picking up the toaster by the slots immediately after making toast. That made me feel stupid. Not so much the first time, but definitely the second
I think the same goes for in person. I'm growing out my hair colour so I can get it cut short and maybe live with the grey/salt & pepper for a while. Everybody I've mentioned it to is horrified. I'm not sure why, but being the contrary person I am, I'll be sticking with the grey for a while even if I don't like it. :)
Mine did something similar and spent 3 days up a tree in the middle of summer. Nothing I could do would coax him down, so I paid a tree lopper $100 to climb the tree and help him down. At which point he jumped out of the tree and ran home. It's a good thing he's adorable!
I can't believe they didn't think The Hoff was superhero enough to include KITT! Failing that I guess I'd like the Batmobile - preferably the 60's TV series version
Stupid Microsoft... I ran it using the profile pic I use for most social media accounts and it said I look 73! I'm 46 :(
So I tried again with a more recent photo (because I'm masochistic like that) and it said I look 54. I guess I should be happy that at least I'm looking younger every year.
