Love pool---billiards. Played a pretty good stick back in the day, a lot in college. I see the photo above is straight rail billiards. Nice game. I've seen guys play 3 cushion and even 5 cushion games, very hard. Easiest game is on those short bar tables playing 8 ball. 9 ball is THE money game.

We cross into Canada a lot. MrsO is a former Canadian and we visit her family at least once a year now. One time crossing into Ontario, the border agent asked where we were going,etc. I said we would be in Spencerville (a small hamlet in SE Ontario) for about 3 days. He joked, "that would probably be enough." We laughed.

A decent human sprinter can beat a horse for maybe 40-50 yards. After that it's no contest. I remember seeing that done as a stunt in college.
