How about lighting them? In college, a classmate was known for passing gas. After a hearty meal of baked beans we all sat around our dorm room waiting for him to release some. When he was ready, we turned out the lights, he dropped his pants, I held my lighter near his behind and he let loose. A blue flame shot at least a foot long shot out of him. We're all doubling over in laughter and he's asking what happened. Too bad it wasn't in the age of cell phone cameras. We only have that memory.
