The 1950's. I could tell the year of most car makes by the styling and detail. Around the 1970's model year changes were so subtle it became less obvious. Favorite years would be mid 1960's MoPar muscle cars. Beep-beep.
I remember reading about an 8 year old in Australia who had never seen rain. She was terrified when it happened. I'm guessing many who live here in SW FL have never seen snow.
Been a fan for years. Drew Carey has certainly livened up the show. What's not to like an hour of commercials made into a game show. Plinko and Rat Race rule.
How about lighting them? In college, a classmate was known for passing gas. After a hearty meal of baked beans we all sat around our dorm room waiting for him to release some. When he was ready, we turned out the lights, he dropped his pants, I held my lighter near his behind and he let loose. A blue flame shot at least a foot long shot out of him. We're all doubling over in laughter and he's asking what happened. Too bad it wasn't in the age of cell phone cameras. We only have that memory. He was here for a visit a few years ago and we both laughed about it.
I still watch it on ME-TV here. LOve the little jokes like "New Guernsey" being across the river, Mayor Linseed, Ireland Yard when they were in jolly olde England. Escaping near death using props like the "Anti-Explosion Bat Spray" from his utility belt. Best bit, after hiding behind the bat shield from machine gun fire, Batman calmly folds it up and stuffs i into his utility belt. Robin asks what he's doing and Batman replies, they are out of bullets, I was counting. Hilarious.
I'm buying one $2 ticket. My odds of winning without it are something like infinity. I liken it to a voluntary tax for education. I have to go outside now and bring in my recycling bin. Hope I don't get hit by lightning or run over by a tank.
There is a bridge like that (though toothless) outside of Syracuse NY. Vehicles are always hitting it in spite of all kinds of warning devices and signs. Years ago people on a tour bus were killed when the driver ran into it.
