Love, love pinball. Played it since I was a kid. Enjoyed real money gambling on the machines in the state of Washington when I worked there. Not a real fan of newer ones. My favorite was "Hearts & Spades" from the early 1970's. On my bucket list is the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.
Star Trek has been part of my viewing pleasure since its inception. I liked the first of the new "prequel" movies too. Well done. Eventually they have to run out of dilithium crystals.
I knew Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy winners don't get prizes until the show is actually aired. Thought it would be the same at TPIR. I always said that if I can't put it in my pocket or drive it away, I don't want it. I won $7K on the Florida Lotto once and the IRS took $1500 withholding off the top. Canada Lotto winners are not taxed. Good for them.
Reminds me of the time someone must have "planted" seeds in a terrarium in my high school biology lab. We let it grow for a wile until it became obvious and we could get into trouble for it. It was removed and disposed of properly.
One summer I worked as Maintenance Director for a boy scout camp in the Adirondacks. I would "seed" our trash dump outside of camp with stuff the bears loved for the visiting parents. I advised them to stay in their cars. Bears can top out at 35 mph, I clocked one once. Not even Bolt could outrun one.
I'll never forget getting a "Quad Stacker" at BK, just for the heck of it. When the server handed me the bag I knew I was in trouble. BTW--my one and only time.
I remember a vending machine when I was in Canada, early 1970's, for a nephew's wedding. It was at the Toronto firefighter's Club where the reception was held. Put coin(s) in and blew into it through a straw. Not sure how accurate it was. Never saw another one.
