THANK YOU for this post. I've seen Jane's Addiction multiple times since 1989, have everything Perry has ever recorded with and band and solo, and am probably his biggest fan.
I've been reading that site now most of the afternoon. It is truly unbelievable. With most of the reviews, it's not even the fact that they don't like the book or movie in question, but the reasons why. There was one person on one of the books complaining about the "big words".
I agree that some of the reviews must be fake. At least hope so.
I'm not a fan of "The Sound of Music". It's just not my type of movie. But it's iconic and you can't just ignore that based on personal opinion. It may not be my cup of tea, but a lot of people enjoy it and it is a classic because it has struck a chord with people and has done so over decades. I haven't watched it in ages, but I am wondering what about it is offensive to the type of vegetarian that likes being offended? I may have to gain a whole new respect for this movie based on that alone.
I saw this somewhere else recently and was in tears I was laughing so hard. I do have a twisted sense of humor, and this misguided attempt to help children who experience disaster will put them in therapy quicker than the disaster would.
Funny because it's the only pig in the country and a curiosity. It's something straight out of Borat. Sad because of the ignorance involved on every level.
I love Star Wars (the old movies), but I don't get the sort of fanatacism that inspires people to do themed weddings. It's cute, but yeah, a bit much if you ask me.
I generally despise the spelling and grammar nazi attitude, but karioke is just about the most interesting way I have seen it spelled wrong.
But whatever, what I want to know is why these T-Mobile things are such a big hit. I am still trying to figure out if they are annoying or if I am indifferent. I know that it falls somewhere between the two for me.
