Oh casinos aren't alone. Hotel conference centers and ballrooms have got to be right up there. Check out the "Painful upholstery and caca carpets" pool in Flickr...

Fleshy starfish like this one move by thousands of tiny tube feet on their underside. It's almost as if each arm is a millipede, but the millipede legs end in suction cups. The overall effect of their locomotion is a gliding movement. Here's a good YouTube look at the tube feet underneath:

Brittle stars, skinnier starfish relatives, do move more by walking with their legs.

Gotta second the recommendation for Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things. It's done in handheld nauseacam style to try to look like a home movie and it would be the perfect fodder for MST3K treatment. It's full of predictably stupid characters you want to kill yourself, ridiculous outfits, the works. I confess it did scare the crap out of me when I was 14. Now I look back and laugh... so long as the lights are on.

I cringed at the last scene of the bird taking off after all the shoot-em-up / blow-em-up shots - I was afraid I was going to see a bullet come in and blow that pigeon apart!

If you don't personally have a problem with staying thin, it's very hard to imagine how it can be a problem for others. Nobody sets out to get fat, nobody chooses it. There are a number of medical problems that can make it hard to do enough vigorous exercise to burn enough calories, and you end up in a weight spiral going the wrong way. There are also a lot of emotional issues associated with food and weight - it's all tied up with shame and self-esteem and whether you think you're worth investing any effort in if nobody else values your life. Would you go around yelling at a depressed person to just snap out of it and cheer up?

Looks kind of like a muskellunge? Do they live in Utah? Picture this thing frozen and flattened: http://flickr.com/photos/dlyte/236978418/in/set-72157594270954152/
