Apparently it is a helium tank from a Russian space craft. The mystery was solved in the comments section of the other website.

I have to wonder if this is an entirely accurate portrayal. The way it is written makes women sound incredibly stupid. The guy is probably a little creepy because medical students shouldn't be that hard to convince.

Not really karma. They probably stole the stuff that got stolen from them. They will just go and steal some more stuff to replace what was stolen.

Can you imagine being the guy to push the button on the first ever atomic bomb test? In the beginning scientists were afraid the heat from the blast might set our atmosphere on fire.

As a retail worker I haven't experienced a 'flash rob,' fortunately, but I have had my share of all the other types of thievery, prank and general tomfoolery. Some of it is harmless and cute (changing a display in a humorous way) but it gets annoying after a while. It makes me mad when these kids start stealing because it threatens my livelihood. I don't have their parents' fancy health insurance or financial security. Just leave us retail people alone. We are in a no-win situation. We can't restrain or otherwise discipline these crazy kids because we are terrified of being sued.

My experience of working retail is that the laid-back managers are usually the cause of the bad work environment. Your coworker Josh is the predictable no-show and pretty much works whenever he feels like showing up. Out of a sense of duty everyone else picks up the slack. You never know when your shift will really end or if you will get a call on your day off to work. Things would be great if management would just fire Josh but they never do.

@Ziggy Texas is like the least nasty room in a motel 6. Texas might not be all-that but where are you coming from when you also live in the same motel 6? Anyway, Texas will be seeing you in 2012...

"...all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights..." That means HUMAN. Take that you mangy mutts. We granted the right for certain animals to enter places where they were normally forbidden. For our own amusement we can now take away aforementioned right. Enjoy your crummy alienable rights nonhumans. Buahahaha.

This struck a cord with me. I work as a cashier in a home improvement store. There is so much noise I have to contend with. I have congenital hearing loss which adds to the difficulty of hearing customers. The one thing I wish customers would do is SPEAK UP. If I ask for your name I want it spelled loud and slow. O-M-A-R, That spells Omar. I deal with a thousand to several thousand customers a day. I want to make the experience enjoyable for each person. The more of a production it is to help a single customer the more difficult the job becomes by a factor of a thousand.

This is a good demonstration of engineering and physics at work. Automobiles are designed so they roll real good and once they get going they tend to keep rolling.
