I call BS on the story. Having worked on an Accelerator, I can tell you first hand that #1 without the vacuum in place and without the magnets running the beam would have gone nowhere. #2 accelerators have to be supercooled. With a hole large enough to put your head in it would be very difficult to get it very cold. Now I am no doctor but I would think "a flash brighter than a thousand suns" would blind you perminatley.
Don't even get me started. To late, I think before any body is allowed into this country they should have to be able to speak our native language. (Mohawk)
No mystery. Mail online has the story. "Now, however, the Daily Mail can identify the person behind the milk bottle creations as Charlotte Hughes-Martin.
The 30-year-old artist said she had been motivated by a desire to show how 'domestic, everyday objects can be things of beauty too'.
The ex-lecturer, who works from a studio in a former glass factory said she had been dropping off batches of her work at random addresses for months." 2 minuets of research, Mystery over.
Sus is right, i was also a glass blower that takes years of practice. And yes it is hot. In the summer it would be over 120 degrees F. by 9:00am in the shop.
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

In other words we should be able to do just about anything. And I could not agree more.
Humans have survived at least 25 cooling and heating cycles so far. What makes people think we wont survive this one to? It may not be pleasant and not all will survive but some will survive no mater what happens. A lot of people say that only cockroaches would survive a nuclear war, but you know people survive in every climate on this planet including Chernoble.
My parents owned land not to far from Dogpatch, We went down every summer for about 7 years in the 70's. I still drink from a coffee cup from there i got when i was 3
Why were her two sons not raised in the same manner? Did the boy friend not know right from wrong? For a mother and another adult to do this is unforgivable. The mother and the boy friend should be jailed in solitary confinement for the rest of there lives and treated like the sub-species that they are.
Now this is only a rough estimate, but about 39111 trees would be used for 5 billion pages. 1 4x4x8 foot stack of wood will give you about 90000 sheets of paper.
