Have you heard of misdirection? Focus on one piece of the chess game long enough and you won't even notice the rest around you dropping like flies all around, because that single piece means so much to you and you lose focus on everything else.
I never did understand why the second amendment was more important above all, because if it wasn't it wouldn't come up so much. It's like "You can take away my job, my house, and my health, but you can't take my gun out of my cold dead hands". I mean, seriously, WTF? These priorities are out of wack man. Can you explain to me why that is?
Reminds me of the computer game Fallout, where in a post-nuclear world there are people who chose to live a tribal way of life, while others decided to stay and live in the destroyed ruins of cities where crime and discord is rampant, while calling themselves the "civilised folk". It was quite an effective parody of that mindset.
All nations leave a stain in history books, but knowing the truth of what happened in the past doesn't mean someone is unpatriotic, it should be an accomplishment to display how far a nation has gone to right wrongs, improve on itself, and make sure negative history never repeats.
Ahh, now that I actually saw the video, yeah, it's pretty bad. The oral act was stupid. I still stand by my belief that your kid has already seen worse, but as far as conduct regarding their job roll, it was unprofessional. My mistake.
Teachers need some education on how the information age works. If kids think it's worth watching, it will end up on the internet. Also the parents are over reacting, there are far worse things on the internet you child has already seen.
