Gauldar's Comments

When I was in college years ago, after a heavy snow fall my instructor on the way there took a taxi and asked the driver to stop at all the bus stops on the way down Younge Street because the bus system was delayed, and she asked any people waiting if they wanted a life down. None took the offer. Maybe it's healthy paranoia... but then again, maybe it isn't.

We should wonder if we are being overly over-protective of our children. Fear can be an educational deterrent to kids, and puts them in a worse situation then properly understanding the things we keep them from.

It's the same if it's a plea bargain. I always loved that form of CYA (cover your ass) insurance for criminals. Why bag a pawn when you can out the person at the top or at least higher on the chain.

Sounds more like a false sense of security, but if the symbolism makes you happy, all the power to ya. People have fought and won wars with less available. I see it on the mug too, on the left side. Are you disappointed that it's not one of the ones that disappears when hot liquid is poured in the mug?

I'm sure they refused to give out that information, it would be out of the ordinary for them if they did supply information. Even if they did though, would you trust it?
