The Son of Man has always been a favorite of mine. The faceless business man wearing a three peice suit. They say that the clothes make the man, but they can never tell you who he really is.
Going back to Miss C's comment, she wasn't saying that she wasn't getting paid at all, I'm sure she was refering to the mindset that if it was possible to not pay their workers only to have them survive off tips, they would actualy try it. Anything to boost profits.
Yeah, Chad hit the nail right on. Nothing makes more money the products/services that cater to vices, especially those that can be provided in the privacy of one’s own home. Porn, online gambling and computer games bring in huge amounts of money, but booze stores/bars are still favoured over internet sales, but still is additional income for the companies.
Humans are producing more females because they inherently spend more money shopping then men, thus helping society stabilize the economy. Go urban evolution!

It's unfortunate that the particular kit was only available for a half-life of 2 years. I wonder if even after sales they continued to honor the material replacement policy.

Depends on if the tips are worth it.
They don't exist, guns are non-bias.
It's a shock to me as well.
