@earl

Obesity is not an epidemic; the only thing that is contagious is the quality and way of life. If you want to only focus on the result and not the root of the problem you might as well ignore it completely.

I saw a great documentry last year, I have to dig up the name of it. It was about the history of sword fighting in Europe and displayed many techniques of using a 2-handed sword in was you wouldn't even think. Things like grasping the blade and using the hilt either to bludgen your opponent in the head or even snare and trip them. It was quite ammazing to watch how fluid the moves were for such a large weapon.

I'd imagine that the amount of room it takes up can be greatly reduced with current technology. I mean, the size of that basin the woman is sitting in is not feasible for the amount of living space in most Japanese homes... unless there’s a toilet included in that device too.

If you take a college course you don't go into it for the theory, if your that interested go to the library or research on the internet if you actualy have the motivation to (which many people don't). College is about making contacts with the right instructors to help get your foot in the door, and depending on that industry of work it allows you to build a work profoilio with tools you normaly wouldn't have made available to you. Now saying that, I only went to college because I didn't have a f'ing clue what I wanted to do and the course I took had nothing to do with the field I am currantly working in, lol.

@wit of a twit

This is true that it is a learned behavior, since the birds themselves are using materials that are available to them by an external source since they unable to bake the bread. Although, it would be cool if they could bake bread!
