Actually even when posed with the option of killing few to save many the robots wouldn't because they couldn't kill humans. That in itself can be considered a flaw where 1 life saved can cost millions of deaths.

Although the laws seemed to work on a sliding scale. In some stories it seemed they were willing to injure humans to save others. Or where the robot following orders moving towards danger till the risk of damaging itself reached parity with the desire to follow orders and it froze (putting the humans in danger).

People need to keep in mind that every bottle in that video is reusable, if taken care of, for most of your lifetime; and uses less resources than Aluminum bottles.

Next time you need a reusable water bottle look to the vending machine rather than REI.

I guessing the caterer never realized he was tricked by the English department who was probably snickering into their hands as they told him it was for a "Roman Orgy".

"A Roman orgy wasn't really a wild place where sexual intercourse took place, it was more a place where you liked food, and they were not exclusively for adults either."

Interesting list. "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" by Limp Bizkit is included but nothing by Sublime?

I would have thought more people took trips to Garden Grove than did it for the Nookie. Or maybe because Limp Bizkit was Rollin' rollin' rollin' to the bank they got on the list?

Wow, they consider $490k rich?

I consider $90k rich. Tax everybody making over a hundred grand; if they complain about it have them swap places with me. If they'd rather work 60 hour weeks for $30k to dodge taxes then more power to them.

Era -> Error???
Nuclear -> Nukilar???
Lasso ->Laysoo???

I don't think they actually got Americans to say those words. I think they're just comparing British English with Stephen Fry's impersonation of George Bush.

10,000 years is a loooong time.
Take the time between now and Christ and multiply it by 5. Take the time between now and Tutankhamun, and let that much time pass AGAIN (plus another 2000 years).

And ANYTHING that exists now will be reduced to sand, if civilization survives and we keep a catalog of everything we may remember some of this but I'm sure what's what people at the Library of Alexandria thought too.

Basically if you want an answer to the question think who do you know from 10,000 years ago?
Then think of whoever it the modern equivalent of that.

Considering most famous figures from classic antiquity (only half as long as we're talking about here) are conquerors or dictators I'm afraid Hitler may be the only famous name that survives more than 5000 years.

Fatty foods? What a weak thing to argue about.

My state knows how to make waves; wait until guy shoots a senator in a neighboring state to propose becoming the first state with an official state handgun.

Good thing is that crime should go down since all criminals have to wait in line to use the official pistol.

Any ski slope that is constantly populated by bikini clad ski bunnies will do well. Although if you wipe-out I'm guessing the Astroturf burn will be pretty gnarly.

The show originated in Minnesota and Joel Robinson is a Green Bay native so it's only stands to reason. Even today there is alot of Minnesota related references both in Mike and Joel's riffing projects.

Protecting against brute force attacks is great but it's much more likely nowadays that your password will be leaked from a website you login to. It seems every 2 weeks a major website gets hacked and requests all it's users change their passwords. Once you know somebody's password and email you can extrapolate most everything else you need.

Besides using strong passwords use different passwords for all sites you use. And make sure your home network and email passwords are completely unique from ANYTHING else.
