I'm always amazed when I hear stories about people who get an awful lot in life, but turn it into a success. The fact that you could pull yourself from such a horrible environment and end up in an Ivy league college is a testament to your determination and intelligence.

No one, but yourself has the right to tell you to forgive or not forgive your mother, and I certainly wont judge you either way. I will say that I have heard many stories of people who bottle up their anger and it consumes them. I just hope that you can find peace with your decision.

One more thing, I can't possibly understand what you went through, but I hope you can overcome the trauma that was inflicted on you by a parent who says your worthless. Don't let people define you or hold you down!

Good luck with your book.

Justin

I bet it's a pretty young polar bear still used to playing with his siblings. the pictures are still interesting though because polar bears are known to be solitary creatures.

Four legs good, Four fins bad! :)

There is nothing wrong with fishing or hunting for animals/fish if you plan on using them for food and there are enough to sustain themselves. Some of you seem to assume that this guy is killing a rare shark and will simply throw it away. The article does not say what will happen to it, so this claim is impossible to make.

I do agree though, that fishing and hunting for trophy mounts is crude.

Hmmm my posts aren't coming through. Can someone explain how that one picture of the 3 girls. The one who is 5 foot 4 inches is taller than the girl who is 5 foot 11 inches. and the girl in the middle is only slightly shorter at 5 foot 3 inches.

hmmm my post didn't go through. Well basically I compared that first woman (191.6 lbs) with another woman on that list who weighed 125 lbs. 66 pound difference seems a little extreme to me.
