I was married in 1994 and we had an engagement photo done. It was sent out with the invitations. It was common practice in our community and surrounding areas for as long as I can remember. My Mom's fridge always had a couple wedding invitations and their accompanying photos stuck to it.

Well granted, there isn't that much to do in Saskatchewan in the winter :)

I have had many Canadian friends travel to Cuba for the honeymoons and for family vacations. They all loved it! I plan on taking my family someday soon.
