I'm sure my in-law's Border Collie is highly intelligent, but he's completely insane. In fact, most Border Collies I've encountered are nuts. I wonder if this one is a mad genius as well?

Actually, the extended article said that he would only get six months since it was his first conviction in Malaysia, though not the first time he's been caught. The Malay wildlife department has failed to bring charges against him in the past. I find the six month sentence ridiculously lenient, this guy should be given at least 10 years. Not only is it wildlife trafficking, his crimes encompass animal cruelty as well.

My parents are retired in Costa Rica and they have one of those spheres in their garden. With the exception of the porous surface, it is perfectly spherical, and might I add, pretty darn cool!

This is actually a very common practice in Costa Rica, where I'm from. When little girls lose their baby teeth some parents will have them set into a pair of earrings that the child will usually wear into adolescence.
