They are in Canada. Children's Aid moves incredibly fast in sexual abuse cases, there has been a flood of them in the courts of victims coming out with past abuses. If they thought the girl was living with the abuser, they would be there pretty fast. They are right, the case was ridiculous. I hope that this story is followed up.

I am asking about your connotation. I recall learning in my first year religion classes that in early Islamic history Christians and Jews that lived in lands under Islamic rule had to pay special taxes but could not be persecuted for having a different religion. Is that what you meant?

After reading the last Hollywood edition of Vanity Fair, I am critical of whether or not Joan Crawford the actress deserves to be up on that list, but as a character in Mommy Dearest certainly.

Surely Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Iselin in The Manchurian Candidate deserved to be on the list. Or maybe the mom from Willard or the mother of Frances in Red Dragon.

I think that it is not fair to judge an entire culture based on the head of this household's actions. Going to Egypt could be rewarding just for the historical sites alone. I think that the man complaining that he ate too much and was athletic is completely ridiculous.
