"Fail" is really a verb turned into a noun, as in the "FAIL" captions - Those captions are describing the action in present tense. But I guess it is used as a noun - but it's more than than now... it's a transcendent state in which group of things, people, and places can exist in many different combinations, containing both action and object. It's almost sublime on it's simplicity to dscribe a picture, when used correctly. :P

Nomen Omen? Awesome. I hadn't heard that phrase, but it fits well for many things. I'm glad my name doesn't mean anything really. (I looked it up! Biblical names don't seem to have any deeper info available other than 'after SuchAndSuch from the Bible, even though I know they would have to have meant something before that..)

Chlorine can be pretty deadly, and chlorinated water moreso to something that breathes through gills.

I think a shark could survive a bout of fresh water for a while if put back into salt water. I believe the death was in fact casued by chlorine poisoning.

I also think there's a contributing factor here that is explained well in the movie 'Idiocracy'. Basically, it seems the more intelligent people are (male or female), the less likely they will have kids (and if so, fewer). And vice versa (less intelligent leans towards having more kids). :P

it sucks to have your kid die young.

But I'm wondering, why would someone who joined the military get a free pass? Even if he would have died in combat, thats a consequence of the person's decision (if you join the military, you have to know that you might die. especially if there's a war going on). But that aside, he didn't die in combat anyhow.

It like the parents are trying to profit as much as they can off the pity of others. It would such to be in their situation, losing a kid and inheriting his debt, but I see no reason for them to be helped out more than any other non-military parents in their situation.

That's hilarious. But, most guys won't pay for something if they think they can do the same job. And wrapping a present hastily isn't worth $9. If I'm going to pay for it, it'll be to have it done better than I could.

This service seems like it would get more business from people who normally wrap well and want to pull some misdirection.

Paul Reubens had to be a bit 'off' to be Pee-Wee in the fitst place. If anything, the masturbation thing made him seem more 'normal'. I'm sure he's not the only male to 'enjoy himeself' in a porno theater. I've never been to one myself, but isn't that what they are for? I can't imagine going to a big screen theater and just watching porn like it was a movie. I mean, doesn't porn have a specific purpose? Not to 'beat around the bush' or anything. (lol)
