Isn't the whole point of Halloween to make fun of things? I thought it's way to get out social frustrations using humor. I mean we dress as murder victims and laught about it! Almost every costume is a stereotype.
Miss C is right....as always. : ) Rings in a wedding ceremony are exchanged...so I have my husband's ring and he has mine. Though they're styled appropriately. Makes for funny jokes sometimes when hubby say accidentally drops the ring he wears while taking it off (technically MY ring) and I can jokingly chastise him to "be careful with my ring." Of course, this teasing goes both ways.
Though I'm having a difficult time tracking down an article about this. It was explained by our priest before our wedding in the Orthodox church, which if you've never seen an Orthodox wedding, the rings are exchanged during the Betrothal at the start of the ceremony (though different churches do this differently)
I agree with you Geek Girl. I HATE escort missions. Right about wanting to kill your charge(s.) In fact I've saved and killed them just to vent my frustrations before. Why do the damn NPCs have to walk soooooooooo sloooooooowwwly? Usually, I end up screaming run damnit! They always take you through the worst areas of the game too! Instead of taking the quick and easy way with no monsters, bad guys, etc. they have to go through the worst infested sections.
joe2: if your story is real then you have a big problem on your hands. Wild skunks can carry any number of diseases like distemper, mites, ticks, but most importantly rabies. Call either DNR or someone to trap them.
The problem is one is always going to die before the other one. Even if you bought two at one point you'd have one. Then you'd have to buy a new one (probably younger then the other) and then the old one would die and you'd have one again. It could go on ad-infinitum.
As a guinea pig parent I think this is actually an awesome idea. At first I was afraid that this was for people who don't want permanent pets by this is a wonderful service.
I understand why they made the law in the first place, guinea pigs do so much better with a companion but it seems to create some problems. People constantly having to replaced deceased pigs or dispatching of the survivor.
How wonderful that the rental pigs can help a sick or old pig in it's last days and save other pigs from being bred for replacements or the other pigs abandoned or worse.
