OMG. During the 80s, I used to have a pair of sunglasses just like those hot pint Ray Bans.

A long time ago, in a career of mine, far far away... Sea World brought a couple of penguins to our radio studio for a visit. Their feathers feel just like silky puppy-tummy fur and when they're out of visual contact with each other, they make a sound that sounds a lot like a donkey braying so they can meet back up again.

That widget is weird, and why I won't drink Guiness unless it's from a bottle or on tap. Also because I believe the foam takes up space that could be occupied by beer.

It seems like most of these travelers only saw huge cities (which have their own culture), and will probably go home with the impression that every other city in the US is just like NYC but smaller.

So glad to see I'm not the only one who thought this chick's "campaign" didn't say diddly squat about the real issue.
"See how many fun, kicky looks I can get out of the same basic gray dress!" is not exactly alerting me to the cause of anything but her own egotism.

I would loved to have seen this photographer set up two flashes and one flash in the background (60 feet away?) while all this was happening in what was probably a second or two.
It's a beautiful photo, but I'm not buying the story behind it. Sorry. This, if real, is what takes place in 1/250th of a second or so.

What a wonderful story! I wish this man the best, mostly no lawsuits.
As an added benefit, we now know how much people are willing to pay for a doctor visit: $10.

So that $8 beer at a hockey game is going to be $8.30 if I buy the one with the team magnet? I'm in!

I'm with Kevin on this. It's spiffy, but $300 wouldn't have covered a legally-purchased copy of the editing software, much less equipment, talent, lighting, sound, makeup, costumes, props, craft services, etc.
I'd love to see somebody make something "spectacular" with a $200 videocamera, a 5-year-old puter and freebie/public domain editing software.

"People are stupid. FaceBook simply acts as a quickening agent."
QFT. I'm guessing these people are of the type that say "Oh, my FB profile is sooo ME! You can't really know ME unless you read that first. Don't waste time by asking questions. Read my profile!"

It's either Star Wars or Star Trek, bacon or deep-fried anything, steampunk or legos, anime or cosplay, and whatever else these kids are into that need to get off my lawn.

I have a small Schwab account, an IRA, a 401K, savings and so forth, and I get my medical care from the VA.
I do not worry about "keeping up with the Joneses", and have saved a ton of money not "needing" to buy a leather couch, big flat screen tv and new car.
