i hate serenity and firefly tho, can't understand why people like that tripe. not only is it all totally ripped from the anime outlaw star (i'm always talking about this, lookit up, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Staxringold/Firefly) the production values are not low, but just in very poor taste. cinematography is dodgey, acting weak, so much hollywood cliche and lame action nonsense. why do people like these?

everybody needs to stop being so cuddly about art. all of human endeavor is not art, pooping isn't an art yo, and art isn't some magical thing. it's just painting and stuff. i don't know, why out of all of human activities, people have decided that art is righteous and beyond words. electrical engineering is pretty righteous too. so is cooking. lots of stuff. art amazes those who don't know how to produce it, but it's just like magic tricks, once you practice enough you too can dazzle your friends.

incase anybody finds that statement offensive let me add that i'm a huge supporter of gay rights. gay rights are civil rights and the fact that america is struggling with any issues of gay rights after the monumental civil rights movement of the 50s,60s,70s is downright absurd and basically redundant.
