You can't compare the two at all. Titanic = fact. Creationism/evolution = theories. Not knowing about an incredibly well-known shipwreck does not equate to believing/disbelieving a theory.

Why do they need to change the original charm of the puppets? Oh, I know, it's much easier to market, isn't it? These are famous, beloved puppets.

OK. So puppets are not just for kids but THESE puppets are perfect for children. And why would you want to make them less perfect for children? As a child, you love the muppets, and you maintain that affection even when you are older.

Why try to make the original muppets into characters that play little less to children and a little more to adults? Why not just invent some new puppets to use in adult entertainment?

Oh, I forgot. It's the marketing.

Hey, the exteriors of string instruments are very nice tp look at, too. Yes, the interiors photograph well. But the real beauty, I would say, lies in the sound that is produced by a skillful musician playing the instruments. :)

How can anybody think those outfits are fashionable. I do wish fashion designers would design more clothes that people can wear. In colors that we can wear. At prices we can afford.

As a former teacher, believe me, it isn't that hard to figure out who's cheating... I had a student throw a desk at me once because I scored both his paper and the paper of the student he'd copied a zero. To him, he had the right to copy someone else's work...as long as he actually wrote out the answers longhand. To him, that was not cheating.

But that thinking was quite common in the classes I taught in French schools.

Yeah, go figure.

So he just ''had'' to paint a nude man...couldn't come up with some other subject. And yet was terrified of being outed.

If so, then, for someone who had been around, as they say, he sure was dense.

At least he got some recognition for his work.

But, really, people walking into his abode? Surely the door was locked after the first time that happened...

It's lovely! How can you hate on ''It's a Small World"? Dude. I saw it with my folks when I was a child and I STILL remember it. It's sweet. Sweet is fine, you know. Kids like sweet. So do many adults.

I'd take anything the man writes or says with a major grain of salt. Major.

Who wants to read papers when even the ''journalism'' parts of it read like op-ed? It's the same for TV news. Who wants to listen/watch TV news that preaches at and tries to sway your opinion rather than just presenting the facts of what happened.

Papers are what you read for local news and gossip now.

It's a shame, but no one is forcing them to print what they do.
