Diversity in educational technique can lead to breakthroughs, but I cant' help but wonder what the student/teacher ratio is in the experimental program, and what the cost would be per student. Almost any program can do well when each student gets a lot of personal attention from a teacher, who in turn has a large budget for materials and technology.
But how well would this program work within the normal, strained school budget, and with a 35-to-1 student/teacher ratio?
I have a marvelous phone voice that is rich, sincere, professional... and just a bit sexy. However, since I work mostly from home, I often look as if I've been sleeping under a bridge.
We won't be certain of the results until we can dissect the child's brain and analyze the neuron linking directly. I do hope this will be attended to soon.
Obviously this is plot by the insidiously powerful t-shirt lobby. Remember all those t-shirts during the Obama campaign? Wake up and smell the cotton, Sheeple!
Since it is likely that no-one is actually reading this far into such an awful thread, I'd like to hide my own little note here, with a few facts. One, it is a stunningly beautiful day here in Southern California. I do wish you all could see it. Two, I own the best dog in the world. It worries me that her nose is almost all grey now, but she is the sweetest thing.
Further, since this likely won't be read at all, I'll add that the restaurant near my house makes the finest Mediterranean food that I've ever found. It's run by a Syrian family, and we always have a good chat along with the food there. Try the houmous.
Finally, I'll mention the Nazis. According to the rules of the internet, upon mentioning Nazis in a thread, the argument is then over, and you all can quit posting, thanks.
I visited the Golden Pavillion once on holiday, very pretty.
But weren't Legos meant to be building blocks for your imagination to shape? Lately they seem to be mere model kits to build what someone ELSE imagined for you.
