Let's get back to the non-political postings - Lunacy, Anon and others have aptly pointed out that there are many other sources for the anti-Bush 43 screeds and anti-military issues. I have nothing against transparency on the general funding of military spending - not on the black budget items, though. It costs a lot to have a war - if you're going to look at military spending, look at all of the unclassified costs...

And Adam, even your fellow posters here imply you're political...

I wonder where the cost chart video is for the attacks on US citizens and on our soil and how much that costs...

Even if the 9/11 attacks and Saddam cannot be directly related, these is a correlation due to it all being part the war against Islamic Fundamentalism and terrorists...

What did 9/11 coat us? Can you add that to the chart?

C'mon, Adam - if you can post this then we should able to see another viewpoint.

that wassss....

GREAT!

ok - little overboard perhaps, but you looked and sounded pretty much like what I thought you would - by just looking at your entries

I have no suggestions on raisin re-hydrating, but I make a mean dish of red beans and rice

I like fact Neatorama is largely unpolitical (sorry Alex) and wish it would stay that way. In the upcoming political season, it will be refreshing to go somewhere the thick of battle is far away. I say this as a seasoned political operative - please have an oasis available...

Thank you.

PS - I loved the recent opera posting. My kids liked most of them as well...

heh - are they really considered "uncontaminated by civilization" any more? I would just guess that a big helicopter taking photos might be considered by some to be a kind of contact...

I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where the wind and water damage was worst for Hurricane Katrina. There are a fair number of "Katrina Cottages" being used all over the Coast now. These are prefabricated houses that might be a viable alternative for New Orleans. They are not as large or fancy as the prefab shown in the video; but, they are inexpensive and easy to put on a lot.
